I enjoy it as well. I think its the best Infamous game in the series by far (2 being the worst). It's still not my favorite franchise but definitely a strong title (finally) for the ps4.
im happy about the frame rate cap. i feel like my frame rates fluctuate a bit on this game (even tho apparently no one else on this site sees it) so i'd rather it just be consistent over high here and low there.
ah i remember it well. top down gameplay, lots of elvis impersonators etc etc... good times.
fanboy comments get april fooled... we all know you're eager to throw your opinion in, but maybe make sure you know what is you have an opinion about first ;)
meh. aside from SS which i'm almost done with, there are still no titles that really interest me. wheres Drive Club? Why wasn't gt6 released on PS4?? battlefield's ok, COD is played out... the free to play games are.... ok, but then I might as well be playing Titanfall (which is awesome), and COD played out or not is still better than the F2P and neither of those nickel and dime you to death. the PS+ games are nice but i've done those games and also - why have a next gen con...
i like infamous a lot (I was just playing it literally 5 min ago and loving it) but I think I'm the opposite if i really had to put a bias on it. there are moments in titanfall when you're playing with your friends and epic, hollywood style action breaks out - its so addicting to me and it makes me competitive round after round. i can play infamous for long periods of time and laugh at how insane your powers are when you are kicking DUPs ass left and right, but I don't get quite...
ill assume you mean titanfall isn't a next gen game since it runs on the unity engine.. but i say - take a look at TF on x1 (yes i know the pc version is better - it goes without saying) and then take a look at TF on the 360 when its released. You'll notice a huge difference. i've seen it first hand.
they are both epic in completely different ways. i say, if you have the means, choose both. in my opinion titanfall is a true must have for x1 owners and infamous is probably the best game on ps4 imo (tho i really enjoyed tomb raider as well). they both manage to suck up any free time i have and its really hard to decide between the two when i get that time.
love it or hate it, its the way of the future. not just for forza but for pretty much any game. i am with you though about forza getting content. my friend and i both have gt6, f5 and a running joke about how many car packs forza has had to gt6's none in the short time they've been out. if you've got about $20k though I know how a guy who makes some pretty kick ass, proper sims. too rich for my blood but man they are awesome.
in game currency is just fake money you win from races... settle down. just like its been since forza one. the only difference is if you are impatient and don't have fake in game money you can also use real money. you don't have to. all this is saying is that if you buy DLC cars with real money you don't have to earn them in the game or have it take winnings money to have them in your garage anymore.
You Guys need to learn more about the hardware of both systems. The ps4 is NOT 50% more powerful than the x1 as people keep saying. You can't just take the number of cores/gpu/compute/ and multiply it and have a linear power scale. I am not disputing that in addition to the PS4 being more powerful it is also easier to develop for on account of the architecture of the x1 (small chunk of esram, big chunk of ddr3 etc) what I am disputing is the amount of the power. The differences in pow...
its not grasping at straws, its a valid point. you get a console, a superior camera/motion tracking system (don't worry i love the ps4 in general) and a game... for less money. less money for the same amount of stuff is in fact a better value. It's especially relevant considering a point of contention for xbox sales was the fact that the ps4 was simply perceived as a better value proposition and why people debated the mandatory inclusion of kinect etc..
well.. they can still use their consoles, but when you use xbox live, psn or any other online service you are agreeing to terms and conditions. Behavior is a big part of those conditions because bad behavior causes other paying customers who are following the rules to have bad experiences. Having dealt with a lot of assholes online, i'm all for it.
I have to say - I like Second Son. Its a lot of fun, its got some variety and still feels like it respects where it came from. I also think like everyone else that its gorgeous. That being said - I don't think its as amazing as people are trying to make it. That could very well just be personal preference and I'm aware of that. I think visually its really great but for whatever reason I was expecting more. I'm just nitpicking here, but for all I read about how powerful the p...
i don't know if i'd say mediocre. I mean - you're entitled to your opinion, but most pro critics and gamers alike seem to think pretty highly of it... and I would agree with them. I don't think its the best game ever but its definitely the first must have game on the ps4.
a good shader/texture goes a long ways on low poly geo. pretty good these days.
its the people completely blinded by fanboyism and closed mindedness that seem stupid to me.
whats the big deal? it runs at 1080p/60fps on xbox one at launch. I get the efficiency thing but who cares what its running on if its running exactly the same?
thank god. that light is annoying. i also feel that it contributes to the already short battery life i get out the controller. now when can we change the damn bg?
the power differences between the two consoles are for the most part negligible. again - the problem with x1's launch titles is simply that its a pain in the ass to squeeze the horsepower out of the x1 so early in the release because of its separated esram/ddr/architecture - similar to the ps3 on the last go. this is already changing with new sdk's etc. i think the motivation here right now is sales numbers. the ps4 is simply just selling more and is probably easier to get a good re...
