Count me out too. I will wait until 2012 to buy the next one. That way there will be a year of consoles out there and I can make an educated decision to buy the next MS console. Hopefully that will be enough time to tell if their next console is any bit more reliable...

But having two of them, I was under the impression that the PSP was a success. It's still selling great and has sold over 30 million. Some consoles never hit 30 million in their lifetime so I would say that the PSP if far from a failure.
Sorry, but that is one game I would not wish on a snake.

You are making it sound worse than it was. It may load but to those that are into the game and not looking for reason to pitch a fit, they would never notice. It may be loading but what is happening on the screen is the unfolding and eluding to the locations you are onto next.
You can bypass the scenes... Why complain about something that you can bypass?
But it can become a system seller and compel many to buy the console soely for the single game. MGS4 is that game and it is the best game that has graced any of the three consoles this generation. IMHO
The story is so deep and compelling that you overlook the length of the cutscenes and enjoy the story unfolding before your eyes. Putting down the controller for a snack and a beer has never been so fulfilling in my life. This game redefines action gaming complete with story. It is truly the best game I have ever played.
Cons:
- Core gameplay feels as old as Snake.
- Less actual "game" then any other MGS.
- Switch to action orientated gameplay

Halo 3 was a 8 hour game shooting aliens with little depth to the story. It had a good online component and came bundled with a swag bag (for reviewers only).
MGS4 is a 21 hour game watching amazing cutscenes and shooting PMC troopers along with boss battles and geckoes along with the a-typical MGS villains. It has a story that spans 21 years of gaming goodness and comes with a good online component but sadly enough, was not bundled with any swag bag ...
