For one, I like the way the controller is right now and secondly, not everyone needs to be like Ninty. Besides, the motion controlls of the SIXAXIS work great for the games already released. Why mess with them any further?

All the way from the newly implemented controls to the great visuals to the wonderful story, this game delivers on all fronts and to think twice about giving it a negative score is silly. Did anybody else find the "lead reviewer" trying to hard to find a negative point about the game? I also have to say that MGS3 was good but in no way was it as good as 4. That is my take. MGS4 is king in the series.
I am a fan of games and have no real bias but reading crap like that tends to make me lean more towards the PS3 in terms of fanboyism. Why would anybody in their right mind publish any of that?

But for me there is more than even this article shows. I love the Eye as it makes for some cool little videos of my kids and has some cool downloads that make the PS3 very interactive. Also, the Internet is cool. Sure it's not the best browser in the world but you can view YouTube and that alone is worth it. So much stuff to do that there doesn't seem to be enough time after playing all the great games to do many of the extras.
There are tons of BD movies out that are far less than 40 bucks. Heck, even at Wal*Mart there are 15 dollar BD's. This article, while trying to be nice, fails in some level.
That day one sales in Japan alone were 300,000 copies? I would say that for Japan, that is pretty awesome.
You need to spend some time watching the cut sceenes. And there is not other game that fleshes out the story like MGS. It is bar none the best game for true story telling and is a wonderful experience.
The "Sony PS3 has not games" argument died about the same time the "RROD" argument died. Sorry, but there are a ton of games for the PS3 and some of them are the greatest games to hit the market regardless of platform.
And can say with all honesty that this game is the best frigging game I have ever played. It's just that good folks.
I like all exclusives since they help to showcase the consoles abilities but when it comes to exclusives that are something other than FPS... Sony has it hands down. TPS's and action Platformers are the faves of mine and Sony has it hands down.
They were far more focused on beating out Sony in hardware and now that Sony is beating them in hardware they have switched focus to software... When will the spin ever end?
Well, that was obvious from the start. With the fanbase the PS consoles have, it is no surprise that they will outpace the 360. You don't just lose the fanbase from a previous console over night. It's 125 million users and their PS2's versus 24 million users and their Xbox's... Was this really a surprise for anybody?
I hate to say it bud but the only thing that could have possibly saved MS from Sony's steam would have been for them to release a quality console in the first place. With all the mud they have had slung at them over the past couple years due to the huge hardware failure rates, they will never recover this gen, even if they drop the price to 99 bucks. People know that when they pay 99 dollars for a console they are getting a great deal but only if the console has been reputable since launch. G...
I would be more than happy to welcome the idea of no more revamps for the dash. It may not be the best as it stands right now but at least it is what I am used to. I personally liked it better before they made the last change but that's just MHO.
