The article is fine if they labeled it "our opinion on what WE thought were MGS4's failures".
Sadly however, they titled it for all to think that these were the thoughts shared by many of those who played the game, and they are wrong. I found the list to be a bit reaching and was unfounded but heck, it is their opinion. If they would have titled it better, perhaps it would have been better.

It has been a wild and emotional ride the first time through, now for the second time to collect all the guns!
The game is great and deserves such sales.
Now how many have Sony had? There is strength in experience and while Nintendo is king, Sony is still making headway. If the PSP is anything close to failure, then I shudder to think what these folks would say about many of the gaming consoles released prior this gen...
And to be honest, it will be good. Just from what I have seen the game looks like it will be great. I wish it would come sooner but when it comes to the FF series, please, take all the time you need to make it epic and perfect.
What you say when you think that Sony will be shaking in their boots upon the release of Halo Wars? I know it's Halo but it also an RTS and not all FPS fans like RTS's. I for one bought Halo 3 but won't be buying HW. What is it about one game that would make any other corporation scared?
Can't they just admit that they lost and that at the moment, the upscaling we see is good enough. The next viable option for HD viewing is BD. Silly Toshiba.
Now it is getting more and more expensive each time the PSN releases another update. Once the PSN has cross game invites, in game chat and whatnot, Xbox Live will definitely be over priced. If Sony can offer online for free, then why not MS?
Charging for something that should come with the 60 dollar price tag we already pay for games is silly and with each step forward that the PSN is taking, it becomes more evident that the folks at MS need to rethink their strategy.

It's not just you. Halo was great on the console back in the day but now it is just another shooter. For some, the game is still god but there are those of us that like games in general and have no special place in our hearts set aside for just another shooter. Now with it going RTS, I have less space in my heart for it. I don't mind some of them but they are just not my cup of tea.

This is about a great game. And even Kotaku can't argue that MGS4 is one of the BEST games ever made.
Thanks for clearing that up. Regardless, even if you were a 360 fanboy, even they cannot disagree with the greatness that is MGS4. Those that do are not even worth the lowly title of fanboy. lol
And yes, I am a man and will admit, that even I shed a tear. The emotions run deep in this game. There is no mistaking that.

After the release of the next-box. Sorry, but after 5 of these pile of crap 360's, I have learned my lesson. MS has some great games and no matter what happens, I am going to have a 360 to play but that doesn't mean I am going to be stupid enough to fall for them again. At least not right away! lol
