You just need to stop right there. Just because one developer, a Microsoft Butt Toy I might add, says something like that about the PS3, you assume that he feels it is the lesser powered console? Come on, think about it. How many devs out there would disagree with Carmak? I know of a few right off the top of my head. I have 250gb left and have nearly every DL game available on the PSN on my HDD right now. Not to mention the movies, music and other goodies.
It was an over ambitious attempt from a great developer to make a huge game that was supposed to surpass some of the greats. It didn't and it flopped. Their excuse? New hardware and a lower level of Cell knowledge. How is it then that a developer like Silicon Knights can fail so badly on a game that is truly simple in combat and on hardware that even the lowest of developers understands? I'm sorry but this is unacceptable at this stage of the game. I will be renting this game but only to see ...
The next Xbox and PS console will be out... When they come out. Sorry, but trying to predict what the big three are doing is just silly.

Denis is crying and won't shut up. Look, all devs pinch of a few loaves once and a while. It's OK, just go out and make it right by producing a good game next time.
You created a game that you love and wish that all would see it for what you see it as but alas, we do not. In the eyes of those who will be renting/buying the game, you have created something on the side of mediocrity and should take it back to the drawing board. Better luck next time and remember, it is your fans that buy games and provide you with the resources you spend in making them. Give us something we want next time and not something to settle for.

Slowing sales? Losing sales in Japan? PS3? Sorry, but that is just plain silly. Of course, it would be hard to say that about the 360 since they have yet to pick up in sales over in Japan... It's a well known fact that the Japanese will buy a PS3 over the 360 and that MS has a hard time making any sales over in Japan. If it were not for a few RPG's, the 360 would have pulled out of Japan a long time ago.
Not sure if I care that you would give this one review the "cold shoulder" but what about the other dozen that gave it a lower score or even the same? Sorry, but the game is like Haze, you like it or hate it. Same with Lair. I personally liked those two games but they were worth the rental alone and not a full 60 bucks here in the US.
As for sales, it will hit about a million and a half. Sadly however, sales do not make for great games...
It's a shame too. I loved some of their early titles and now after the media circus we are seeing these days with Denis, it is evident that he is just another developer blowhard. Bummer.

You can't let it bother you. I agree, reviews in singularity mean nothing but sites like metacritic help take the bunch and lump them together for a broad review.
You have to understand, when a PS3 game tanks, the Xbox boys go into a mad fit and slam the PS3 for having yet another bomb. Now that another 360 exclusive has tanked, the PS fanboys are having their day. it goes back and forth here and you just have to hit the ignore button and BAM! Your on your way to a fanboy free ...
The scale should read:
1-6: The game is a dog and should be ignored completely.
7-8: Definite rental but be prepared for disappointment.
9-10: Definite rental. Possible purchase if replay is high.
Also, this is a scale based off of sites like Metacritic. Relying on one single rag or website is silly but taking an average tends to give me a better incite as to how the game might be.
Some say 5/10 and others say 8/10... Makes me wonder if some of MS's swag bags got held up at the USPS?
