No offense taken. What I said was more sarcastic than anything. I have read a ton of posts on the subjects I brought up and when I heard a known Xbox fan say what LaChance said, it struck me as odd and somewhat funny. Nothing too serious.
Unfair? Kinda like how the Xbox fanboys talk about how their install base is larger than the PS3's? How the 360 has more games out on the market? We all know the 360 had a year head start right? So now we know that the install base argument is unfair. Thanks for clearing that up.
Until I played the Demo. Thanks MS for saving me 60 bones and releasing a demo. This game is not for purchase but maybe for rental.
???
How is it that a company like Sony can continue to support a game like Warhawk and maintain a free online service while we get few updates as vital to the games on Live and yet they charge? How is that possible?
Sony, you rock!
- Available with less "suckage"!
Never gonna happen. Sorry, but breath-taking and Wii should never be in the same sentence. As much as I like Boom-Blox, I can't say that anything using the Wii graphics could quite possibly be anything close to breath taking.
If I was not too busy playing Eden... Maybe we will get a PSN version with trophies?
Just go to Sony and have your stuff published on the PSN. It's known more for innovative titles and adding Braid to that list looks to be somewhat of a good idea. Perhps his next game will be PSN exclusive.
When they first showed the XNA stuff to us and how we were going to get our own content on Live and be able to buy and sell it... It's 2008 now and coming up on 2009 quickly... Guess what? No XNA for us unless you pay for it and pay big and even then, your stuff is not guaranteed to get approval from big brother MS. The XNA hope is dying and I see a fat RIP in the near future...
I have yet to hear confirmation of this but will be honest, if they do fix these bugs and spend time adding content, can they perhaps spend time with the slow and cumbersome menus and control schemes? Perhaps if they can fix that, it might be worth it.
I played the demo and was thoroughly unimpressed. Definite 6 for me.
Oh yeah, it's because they are BD's. I only rent BD's from Gamefly these days although I do rent some new releases on the 360 from them from time to time. I have gotten one too many games for the 360 from them that would not play due to scratches. BD's don't scratch so it's a safer bet to rent Sony games.
When I pay 60 bucks for a PS3 game, it comes complete with online enabled, out of the box. When I buy a 360 game I have to pay for online to be included in an already expensive game. 60 bucks is more than enough for a game but when MS charges me to play online long after paying for the game in full, I tend to feel a bit ripped.
You can look at all the extras and come to the same conclusion every time. I game online to do one thing... To game online. If the PSN is free, then it already beats out Live. It's pretty simple really.
Oh, and if you are going to add the fall update to the list of pros that Live would have over the PSN then don't forget to add in Home to the list of PSN features. Oh, and it's free...
And the PSN does that for free. Paying for online play is silly.
Nuff said.
By a single game and neither is any other console for that matter. With all three console having been out for a while now, we have seen that despite a meager beginning, even the PS3 has made a good pass and is looking to make for a great future. Gamers win with good game libraries and from the looks of it, LBP is just icing on a tasty looking cake.
Steady frame rates and fewer glitches? Sorry, but Assassins Creed was not the best game to hit the PS3 in terms of frame rates and whatnot. I just hope that they have a grasp on developing for the PS3 now more than they did when AC came out.
If I will be able to find enough good Happy Tree Friends footage to take pics of and put in my level I plan for "fun without the kids". I watched Ren and Stimpy religiously and would love to see their faces in this game too!
