"We've included every game like that isn't likely canceled or have recently been heard of that is not out yet."
Sorry, but what's with the use of the word "like"? Are we reading sites here that are written by middle schoolers now? Like... For real?
Amongst other games. Plain... Simple... Effective.
But I have to say that in the case of the research study, those that conducted it must have not polled the right crowed. I would say that it is more around the ages of 25 to 45. Although, my 65 year-old uncle likes the PS3...
I have played some realy dogs but I had some high hopes for this one. Glad I have GameFly. This game may have never been nothing more than a rental but I certainly hope it's not a waste of some GameFly time.
What's your take on the idea that in 4 years when the Wii looks even more last gen than it does now, and the PS3 is about 199 or less and is capable of so much more, that many of these casual gamers see the PS3 as a great buy and purchase it for it's functionality and the next gen graphics/gameplay? The Wii is taking the lions share of casuals today, that is no joke but what about a few years from now when the PS3 is cheap? To say that the casuals don't want value would be silly, they want th...
You have to remember that Sony is known for supporting their consoles for nearly 10 years. MS has a bad record of ditching their old console before the 5 year mark and dropping all support for their old console as well.
MS released the 360 while the PS2 was still selling like hotcakes and had no "next-gen" competition until the PS3 was released 12 to 15 months later. In that time they were unable to secure a large enough install base to even make a dent in Sony momen...
They come off way cooler than the MS guys because they have a fanbase of over 125 million worldwide and are successful in all regions of the world. MS is still the baby of the console world and so they have a ton of pressure to live up to the expectations they have placed on them. Sony, having two highly successful consoles and being king for two full generations, they have little to worry about. Even looking at the slow start to the PS3, it is evident that even their newest console is going ...
I loved the fight with The End as well. Sniping is probably my favorite boss type fight and this one took it to the highest extreme.
Man that was a long time ago. Now, a wife and two kids later, sitting through a few cutscenes is nice. I love to relax to one of the best game stories ever.
As for age groups playing what console... Yeah, I guess they are pretty close. I being older have less of a tolerance for poor quality and so the PS3 tends to be my more favored console. THat's not to say I hate the Xbox 360, in fact, I love the games. I just wish it were a bit more reliable.
So the slow sales for the PS3 are due to a lack in 3rd party games and the slow sales for the 360 are due to a lack of 1st party games? Not sure but this just doesn't sound viable to me. Perhaps there is more to it than a single issue.
Absolutely yes. I dare say it is the most polished game to ever grace a console. Castlevainia: Symphony of the Night was another that got it for polish but as for next gen, this one takes the cookie.
If this is true I will be picking it up fo sho.
What type of person does it take to do something like that?
With a tweek to the graphics and a lower scale of 720p, it would be perfectly possible to run this game on the 360. While forza 2 was only at 720p, the game was still fun IMHO.
The company that has the most first party developers under their roof just so happens to have the most first party games on their console... Go figure!
Sony supports third party games but when you have a host of great developers under your own roof, why not give them the time of day over anybody else? I have no problem where the great games come from, just sop long as they keep coming.
For me it is. As with all other reviews, this is an opinion. Thankfully however, they share my take on the game.
The numbers they post up are estimates. So are the NPD's numbers. In fact, the NPD estimates their numbers from only 60% of the large retail stores and some of those stores have recently dropped off... Remember when Toys R Us stopped reporting to the NPD?
Both companies are good benchmarks, not something you should live and breath, especially as fans of gaming. If you are not an investor, then these numbers should not mean enough to lose sleep over... lol
But it makes me glad to own both systems. That way no matter what it comes out on, I will still get my grubby paws on it, day one!
If you want to have fun with penises, do it in the privacy of your own home and do not share it with others. Sorry, but I am sure that when the developers of SPORE were creating the game, they did not have in mind that there would some ubber geek sitting behind his rig thinking up ways to gross people out with a *insert sexual connotation here*-monster.
If people buy from EA, they should read the End User Agreement before making such arguments against them.
Too bad I guess. They should have topped it off and had Christian Slater and Tara Reid do the voices. Then they would have at least had "known" bad acting...
