???
Anybody?
When you say triple A titles, are you referring to the AAA titles like Too Human? :-/
I do not want my kids wandering into to see some gory video of a new game to be released. Heck, if my kids took one look at a Dead Space ad they would have nightmares for weeks. The adult section sounds like a great idea in the context that Sony looks to be implementing it in.
What? Because folks here agree with the negative scores and not with the positive scores? Look, people around here on the other side of this debate were the same folks that bashed Lair and Haze so it's safe to say that what goes around comes around. Not everybody is going to like the game and when reviews are posted, it is natural to post your opinion of the game and review.
Then again, reviews are opinions these days and not objective as they should be. Like I said before, some will like the game and some won't. Rental at best.
In terms of "epic AAA titles" that have failed. I remember the flames that hit when Haze came out and it would seem we have yet another Haze on our hands. I rented Haze and like it although it was far from a great game. It was OK at best. I am going to bet this will be right up there with Haze and be fun for some and a total dump for others. A rental at best I guess.
How they were actually going to improve the game for the PS3 release but had no idea they were improving the price as well. Sadly enough, I wouldn't pay 20 bucks for the game so they still fail. After the release of Siren, I have had my temp fix for survival horror and will just have to wait for Dead Space or Silent Hill for my next fix.
He says the UE3 was promoted to do more than it could but then he turns around and ships a game that can't turn up a decent, legit review above a 7... Come on, the game he is standing behind is a dud and he want's to place blame on somebody else to save face. He knew their game was not going to live up to the hype years ago and won't quit with the blame game...
Most anticipated here.
'Cause that's where most of my friends are these days.
What those that hated on Haze will say about this? I played Haze and thought it was a good rental. Perhaps this too will be a good rental but in no way will I drop 60 bones to play mediocrity.
"Here's a thought: If Michael Hutchence had been able to use Force Choke, maybe he'd still be alive. His control over the Force would have lapsed the moment he lost consciousness, you see."
Lame.
*checks to see who author is*
Oh, Bruce, it's you again...
*moves on*
Nothing to see here folks.
If you think it was the atom bomb that persuaded the Japanese to stop fighting then you need to study up a bit more on the war. Imagine their emperor as being seen as a god and that a full surrender would be surrendering over their god to a pagan country... Until the terms of surrender took out the full surrender of their "god", the war was not at an end.
Anywho, saying you like a country for bombing another is pretty sad. Bombing any country for that matter is bad if...
Placing the authors of Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings in the same catagory is just plain silly. Rowling might be good but in no way is she in the same league as Tolkien.
This game is going to be a riot. I loved Tools of Destruction and plan to buy Quest for Booty. It looks absolutely hilarious.
Was not impressed. I think what set me up for disappointment was the idea that some folks claimed it to be a Diablo clone for consoles. It was ok but it sure was nothing int he same category as Diablo. The whole game (demo) was "ok" at best and perhaps worth a rental but in no way worth 60 bucks.
Have "maybe" played about two of the dozens of PS2 games I own on it. Sorry, but in the end, I do not buy a new console to play old games. I buy a new console to play the new games and if it plays old ones then great, if not, then oh-well.
Yeah, one... It's a PS3. If you know what a PS3 is then you know you want one and to say otherwise is simply an expression of fanboyism. If you are a gamer then you should want to play all the games and to do that you need all the consoles, PS3 included.
If Denis will release another press statement saying it wasn't his fault and that the UE3 deal messed up the game...
