We are now nearing about games not yet even announced that might not ever see the light of day? This is not rumor, this is idiocy.
Sony using me as a tool?
Well, if Sony providing me with a BD player for my big screen 1080p HDTV, WiFi and connectivity to my PSP, Great games like Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, MGS4, GT5:P, and many more means they are treating me like a tool then sign me up for the tool shed. I get free online play, great games and a plethora of high tech gadgetry when I buy a PS3, and if that is being used as a tool for that simple purchase then being a tool never felt better.
Typically they post up some blatant garbage but this was just stupid of them.
It's Kotaku... Did you expect them to be honest? Heck, this is no surprise that they posted poor pics to aid in their mud tossing at the PS3. I am actually shocked they made it right... Now this is a day to mark on the calendar.
I did not buy a Wii because I am a hardcore gamer, I bought it because I have kids. Sorry, but the occasional "Mad World" game release is not going to convince me that the Wii has any intentions of aiding the hardcore gamers. It's a Wii, great for parties and wonderful for kids and not to mention the occasional Retirement Home...
I can see a tear in the eye of those who work at Kotaku... You know they were hoping. Well, that's two big rumors put to bed this week.
But it won't be. There are fanboys on both sides and those on the Xbox side that want MGS4 on the 360 are some of the loudest idiots I have ever come in contact with.
But this preview reminds me, it will be the PS3 version. I too have been getting the disc read error lately and I don't want to miss out on the action.
Would at least keep them in the running longer than if they launched side by side with the PS3. If they launched a year later, they might have gotten the hardware right but would not have lived up to the same hype the PS3 had and would have been in the shadow of the PS3 for months to come. Their head start is falling away in the numbers each month but it was worth the effort for the lack of competition from the other two console makers. With out the head start, they would be in a distant last...
It's a fourth the time of a retail game and a fourth of the cost. Compared to Braid, well, I played Donkey King a long time ago and would rather play Ratchet. Braid is cool and all but I am no longer interested in buying XBLA games, even if they are as cool as some say.
This game does not result in some youths squirting "milk" at their DS, then I am fine with it...
I certainly hope that health improves for the family. It's nice to see people with values.
I have one but it was quickly replaced by the iPod Touch. At least with the iPod you get apps. Wasn't the Zune supposed to have apps and games a while back? Sorry MS, your MP3 player is nice and all but it's lacking, especially for the price you pay for it.
Sorry, but announcements in the industry are not promises, they are targets. If the company hits them then fine but if they do not, it is not a failed promise. Good golly there are too many folks that take these announcements too seriously.
To get me ready for Resistance 2. I cannot wait for this title as it will invariably suck the life out of me for days on end. I luv you Insomniac!
that this is a load of BS. They make a game and only chose to support the PC and 360 version? That's just sad and poor for business. This is not a PS3 versus 360 thing, this is a Valve versus gamers thing. And in this case, Valve is giving many gamers the big fat FU. I say we return the favor.
That this even upsets me. This is a simple nose up to the PS3 owners that spent 60 bucks for their game just as the 360 owners did. I see thig as bad business and bad for Valve. The fanbase for the PS3 is growning and if they do not want to suppor their games at a later date then why would anybody support them from the PS3 camp? What a shame Valve.
I mean... wow. Pretty sad but the worst part is that there are idiots that buy this stuff.
Maybe in the future we can buy a retail game for 60 bucks then download the ending for about 1200 MS points... That way we can buy the game and have Scamco beat it for us! YAY - /sarcasm
