What a bunch of fair weather crap. IGN is fine when it gives a game you favor a high score. Obviously now they're not. Everyone's a crybaby now, and can no longer peacefully oppose opposing views.
Lol. Exactly.
IGN US is nothing now - it's all about IGN Zimbabwe, IGN Saudi Arabia, IGN Greenland, and IGN Sweden. Come to think of it, I think they just like whatever outlets give high scores to games they want.
I guess a "good review" is just a review that fanboys agree with. Forget how the person honestly felt - that doesn't matter. Reviewers shouldn't be honest. They should just score how we want them to because we're fans, ...
It looks outdated and boring, though I'm sure some people are going to love it or maybe even pretend to love it. After seeing game play it looks like something out of 2001 - something that didn't age well.
Time to get mad at IGN again, lol.
I'm still nowhere near beating it and it's one of the best games I've ever played. That's only a chunk. Safe to say I'll like it even more by the end, but damn will I miss it.
It's a great production, and it's not "weird" it's unconventional. I refrain from 'weird' because it has a negative connotation, imo.
If others want to call it weird I'm not trying to stop em though.
It does.
So many great games to look forward to and now seeing this makes it even better.
Game of the year for me, easily.
When I'm not playing it, I always want to.
So basically it's more reliable and generally better than Stadia overall, but it's *still* streaming which means it's still flawed.
I never use wireless anything if I can help it. I always have a direct connection. Gaming natively from local hardware will always be superior and it's all I'll ever support.
I don't think anyone can truly know the struggle unless they play Free-for-All. It's my favorite mode (always has been) and it's literally nothing but people holding down their sights and listening for noise.
Flanking is literally dead unless the enemy doesn't have a half-decent headset. It's just dead. Sound is the name of the game, and that's it.
There's nobody worse than this guy.
I can't wait to see Death Stranding Cosplay. People walking around with crates attached to them in crude, disorganized fashion. Exaggerated cargo hauling with people stacking way more than you can in the game.
Gonna be great.
Geoff Stranding.
Amen.
So damn good.
Despite how well made a game is, it may not be recognized because it's mostly more of the same. I think Gears 5 falls under that category of being 'good yet tired.'
People want NEW not the same or slightly improved and I think Gears 5 falls under that as well.
As I was perusing the list I saw a lot of Death Stranding which made me nod profusely. Design, music, art direction, narrative, game direction, etc - I think all of that should go to Death Stranding.
I was also thrilled to see that Days Gone got absolutely no recognition here because it doesn't really deserve any, save for maybe art direction because the interpretation of Oregon was quite good.
However, Days Gone is not brilliant in any way - the stor...
Best Performance Nomination: Norman Reedus.
Let me just start by saying that I like Normal Reedus and have largely enjoyed him in all his roles whether he's killing zombies or delivering packages. But I think a lot of his 'acting' is just him being himself while following a script that he probably largely contributes to. He's a very no-nonsense, rugged dude in life and those qualities/attributes translate well to the roles he takes on. He doesn't really ...
This game is loaded with peaks and valleys and I mean that both literally and figuratively. Sometimes you're cruising; enjoying yourself and addicted to delivering, then you hit a low point where when something gets in your way you're just like "Not now" or "This again" or "Aww shit." This is my personal experience.
Still, the more and more I play the more and more I actually appreciate all of it even when it's going to give me an e...
"Unplayable at times"
Who wants to PAY to game with this unnecessary nonsense?
Uh oh, IGN Italy gave it a "Seven" and IGN Italy was the good IGN that replaced the bad U.S. IGN.
Now what?
