@ Everyone
It looks both sleek and utilitarian, and I have absolutely no problem with that. Function over form anyway. Looks like getting to ports won't be a pain in the ass when placed horizontally on my stand either.
Same.
Really feeling that next-gen excitement and anticipation about now.
Phil Spencer has stated that in can be placed horizontally...
That was my first thought as well and it amazes me how many people are on Struggle Street trying to shorten the title.
I arrived at SX independently and easily.
We get it, man. Xbox isn't your favorite thing in the universe.
Hellblade was fantastic for what it was and what it tried to be; a combat game with runic alignment puzzles and a great story about a mentally tormented and disturbed Pictish warrior. The game also oozed atmosphere.
Side note: What you say about Hellblade is exactly how I felt about Concrete Genie. I would call it 'beautiful boredom' however, as "garbage" would be overl...
Microsoft swooped em up and it looks like they're letting them do their thing, which is what we all want. Developers need freedom - not constraints.
Initially I was taken aback, but after about a minute I'm really happy with the design of the console and the fidelity of Hellblade 2.
It's overload for me considering I'll be buying this alongside the PS5. Hellblade 2 is such a sweetener and looks to be a launch title.
Finally something gritty and serious from a Microsoft studio that isn't boring ol' Gears. So happy to see Ninja Theory working on this because I really wanted a Hellblade 2 and Bleeding Edge is just cringe to me.
Hopefully Microsoft's studios will be pursuing more mature themes and start trying to riva...
I love it.
I really, really like it.
I actually like the unconventional yet tower-like design.
I'll be buying both this and the PS5, gleefully.
Senua is a Pict, specifically.
YES!
I rarely had to soothe BB.
The only time BB is really a factor in game play is when you spend to much time in BT territory and he nears autotoxemia. I mostly interacted with BB in the PR and very rarely paid him attention out in the world. He never really cried because I was always careful. Even when he does cry, he'll eventually stop and his 'happiness' bar only goes down a little.
I really believe that people who are making BB out to be thi...
I'm one of the biggest TLOU fans alive, but what does that have to do with ANYTHING? You only come off as extremely bitter over the idea.
Why are you bitter about this?
Agreed. Wasn't a fan of MGS5, but I thought Death Stranding was an absolutely phenomenal production. I think it's important for games and the future of game development.
It sends a message to developers to follow their hearts and create what they want to create. You don't have to follow convention - you can make a masterpiece. You don't have to look at your work and think "but this" or "but that" - you can just make it.
Saaaaweeeeeeet.
"They" don't clearly think anything, dumb-dumb.
Tristan Ogilvie is not IGN, and does not represent IGN as a whole. Did you hear the opinions of many of the other IGN folk? You should. They're mixed, but a few really liked it.
How many times do people need to be reminded of this?
Also, what Sam said.
Death Stranding for me, easily.
I loved the entire game but I was pleasantly surprised by the creativity of the final chapters.
The Order 1886 was a nice production though, and one worthy of playing, imo. Yeah, it was standard cover shooting, but the weapons were satisfying (that Triple Crown Shotgun) and the story was good. Yeah, it could have been better, but it was a nice playthrough.
Days Gone was pretty bland, but it was OK.
God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Bloodborne were excellent, as was Death Stranding. But it's all just opinion.
Asylum for the Feeling is in all my playlists now.
