The biggest question is not how much money Microsoft paid for this - the biggest question is why on Earth is ANYONE upset over it?
I would say this is more of an experience than a video game. It's either relaxing and rewarding, or it's dull and unrewarding. It's up to the individual.
I'm about three hours in and I've seen a lot of cutscenes. Story's quality (weird but quality) so far, and I'm getting the gist of the game. I'm enjoying it as of now, but that could change. I think it's going to depend on the evolution of the game play as new things are made available t...
Play Fallout 76 and get 86'd.
It's a good game, but I'm not getting the "perfect for grownups" thing. It's certainly a game designed with adults in mind but it's no more so than so many other games released as of late.
He's obviously trolling all you guys and you all bit down pretty hard.
And you stay outta Aural Chic!
Lol.
This is truly clever.

He insulted many people. He makes everything about himself.
But I expected this sort of idiocy from you.
You're a well-known, aggressive Sony fanboy.
It is, and the way he talked about his rave reviews in Japan and Europe was kinda Trumpian.
'We got great, great reviews. Yuge numbers, some even as high as ten!"
There are no levels of silence. People don't say "total silence" for nothing.
Again, you're trying to heavily mandate an absolute silence rule, and I'm not going by that rule. Period. I don't care who responds, or how they respond. I'm going to say my piece - you don't have to like it, but it will be spoken.
You can try to impose your rule on me, but I'll buck you every time. I have every right to my speech, and you ...
I wouldn't say the game deserves hate; hell even the creator (as much as I don't like him) doesn't deserve hate, but the guy could definitely use a little humility.
Developers shouldn't complain about reviews. I'm holding him to the same decency standard as I would hold any developer. I love The Last of Us, but if Druckmann started moaning about reviews I'd tell him shut up too.
Appreciate the response.
I wasn't challenging your views, I was merely curious because many people have been saying that it really picks up at around hour 12.
They were going to stop, but then things happened that made it better. Stuff like that.
That's the only argument proponents really have. Even the game creator has no excuse for some of the negative reviews his game received, and tells people who don't like his full-of-itself game that they're just FPS people.
Kojima's a nut.
This isn't change.
This isn't a series that changed direction, it's a brand new game.
God of War 2018 was change.
Halo and Call of Duty are not the same. Shooting - that's it. Could God of War be Halo without guns? No, that's absurd.
But why now?
What's the reason that you absolutely cannot continue the game? I read the entire post and I get it, but is there nothing else that drives you to finish the game? You did have good things to say, so I'm genuinely curious.
What was the straw that ultimately broke the camel's back for you?
I keep on trucking.
Just because I'm offended by this doesn't mean I can't handle work-life situations, or don't know how to respond to things or deal with things.
Come on, now.
If you can't see the condescension, implications, and self-aggrandizement in those statements then you may either not want to see it, or you legitimately don't see it, but I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and believe that you do see it, and are just not as offended as I am.
"Perhaps it is difficult to understand for a certain type of critic and audience" Americans are great fans of first-person shooters and Death Stranding is not, it flie...
Cautiously optimistic about this one.
From what I hear the combat is intense and satisfying.
I see why people like it and I see why people don't like it.
Right now my problem is with Hideo Kojima whining and complaining about some American reception.
Kojima quote: "I must say that the game received rave reviews, especially in Europe and Japan. Here in the United States, however, we have had stronger criticisms. Perhaps it is a difficult game to understand for a certain type of critic and audience. Americans are great fans of first-perso...
