I';ll definitely be picking this up this Fall. Can't wait :D
It's been confirmed that pre-orders will NOT work :( No dice. I'll have to pass for now seeing as how all the good games come out starting Oct. 30th.
"The deal is valid between October 21 and October 27."
:(
That's exactly what I said in my first post :P
Sony touted the Vita as having PS3 (console) quality graphics. I was merely pointing out that first-gen games ALWAYS look a little lower-res than games that come out a few years later. That said, Most Wanted on Vita looks great, can't wait :D
It's not PS3 quality, but it still looks amazing for a handheld. Not to mention this is a first-gen game.
I'm not even dignifying this site with a click-through. Quite possibly the most idiotic article I've seen on N4G in awhile.
If this stays true for the NA release, then that is a VERY smart move by SEGA. I'll gladly drop $20-30 in items over the course of my playing the game. Heck, i would have bought it outright for $30-40.
I'm just glad there's no monthly subscription fee. Paying those make the game feel more like a job than a hobby...
Has anyone actually played the game on Vita and confirmed these reports?
Game looks amazing. A bit unrealistic considering the cost of a rig to run the game looking this good...
Well said! Honestly, with sales popping up all the time, your average Vita game costs $30-40. Your average movie costs $10 + concession stand purchase and only lasts maybe 2.5 hours. A Vita game @ $30 is going to last AT LEAST 6-7 hours, if not plenty more, plus you can trade it in towards something else after...
I just don't get piracy when developers are working hard to provide fun games.
If I wanted to play PSP games, I'd have kept my PSP-2000. So far I've only bought 2 PSP games. Surely people understand that if the Vita gets hacked, the developers will jump ship completely?
Current-gen PCs are WAY better than the PS3 and 360. We're talking almost 7 years in terms of specs evolving. A "current-gen" PC would pretty much destroy the PS3/360 and could easily be close to what the new consoles will have.
Easily my favorite FF game and I didn't even delve into the card game when I played it all those years ago. Will definitely have to pick this up for my Vita now.
I already have 4 major releases on my list this fall, and that doesn't include smaller games...REALLY need a B2G1 sales to happen around late November/early December.
That's the choice of the actual alcohol companies. They have always requested that their logos/companies not be in video games. Nothing the developers can do about that.
Been following the game since it was announced, it's looking amazing!
Because they need to restructure and cut costs...I mean, if the studio itself isn't making enough to at least break even, it's time to reorganize.
Surely with how much talent was in that studio they would move some of them around. I get that closing a studio usually means it has simply grown too large and isn't producing enough sales...but wipeout on the PS3 and vita both look pretty damn amazing and I'm sure they're capable of making more great games.
Looks like Sony is finally smartening up and dropping the 3G model. Great idea in theory, but just not practical for gamers with the plans that we were offered. I love my Vita though and Tuesday is a great day with numerous games coming out.
