When you agree to the terms and conditions you sign that you are willing to play nice in Sony's playground. If you don't play nice you get the ban-hammer.
I think this person needs a wake-up call in what respect and common curtesy mean, as they clearly have neither.
I must have been one of the few that actually picked this game up. I've been a fan of the series and honestly, yes it could be much farther along that it is. I'm sure if the developers had the resources of Rockstar, EA, Naughty Dog, etc, they'd be able to.
Sadly they have to deliver on what they have to work with. It's not the most advanced game of it's kind but I think that gives it charm. In a market where multiplayer is the main selling point and sales determine value it...
I think gamers expect a certain standard in regards to graphics. Graphics are also slave to what the developer wants to do with the gameplay and mechanics that define that gameplay.
Though I always believed Music/Sound and Gameplay to far outweigh graphics, I would like to say that the graphics should work in harmony with the other aspects of the game to enhance the experience of the player.
Cutting edge graphics are nice, but I am perfectly happy if the develo...
There was no denying Assassin's Creed's graphical prowess and it's beautifully crafted cityscapes.
The shallow, repetitive gameplay was what tarnished the first installment. The second looks to improve but I don't believe the graphics were ever an issue, and historical accuracy in regards to the cities was breath taking. It was one of my favorite aspects of Assassin's Creed.
This is a sound creative method. You write a narrative first then from that you can flush out and pinpoint the missions within that. Then you expand the missions and create them with the narrative. Slapping in extra missions would make them seem unnecessary and out of place. Making the missions too long would cause the level to get tedious depending the events the narrative allows.
They also have to keep in mind difficulty and how much effort that applies to the narrative....
I have no doubt that it is in development, however I think Sony wants to keep mum about it until there is something substantial to show. If they announced it now, then the press would flood in and we all know how good Sony is at keeping secrets.
E3 2010 should give us at least a teaser trailer.
Lots of paperwork I imagin to bring those two titles to PSN.
Wow, that was fast. On Wikipedia they have PSN listed under Platforms for Strangers Wrath. 0.o?
In fairness I.W has had awhile to get this formula right for their shooter. They've done nothing since they came together except the Call of Duty franchise.
I would like to see I.W step away from Call of Duty, just to see them out of their comfort zone and truly test themselves as developers. I feel the same way about Bungie as well (only lesser since they had games before Halo).
I remember Call of Duty 4's single player. I made the mistake of being new to the...
What a silly thing to argue about.
I mean so many people find it important but I would think there would be better/more important things to fight over. Like if one version received more characters, one of the versions has moves or modes omitted, or even one coming with different pre-order bonuses. But, the number of pixels on screen? Honestly?
The trouble of it, seems to boil down to one thing..Keyboard and mouse. MMO's were born and bread on the PC using the keyboard and mouse as the controller of choice. So in current terms it's hard to port MMO's as we know them today to the consoles and honestly I in part blame World of Warcraft.
World of Warcraft set a template that it seems ALL MMO designers have to follow in order for the game to even be considered, and that's just not true.
I believe that if ...
Final Fantasy VII was on the Japanese PSN store for a few months before it was released in NA. So sadly, I would expect a wait on that but here's hoping.
It will probably be around the same time as a normal update if it happens today, which is around 6pm (EST). That's my best guess anyway.
This is a supplement model PSP, designed for those more into digital downloads.
Current PSP users have absolutely no reason to get this model, none, and that's a good thing. It doesn't alienate any existing users of the PSP system and adopters of this version will have Sony support of PSP titles appearing on PSN in the future.
Yes I also believe that they announced Yakuza 3 for the west. However, no word on Kenzan making the trip yet and that's a disappointment.
I think someone should tell that poor soul that the game has a cover system and that the he should not be afraid to use it.
Stopping dead out in the open to zoom in and shoot at your enemy tells me that the individual is not used to shooters, 3rd person or otherwise.
On top of the fact that it's off screen low quality video and you have a rather uninspired glance at a game with good potential.
Assuming there is a competitive multiplayer option, though I do expect co-op.
While visually this game tips it's hat to Gears of War I hope it this games improves on the shortcomings of Gears of War in reference to story and character development.
I want a nice compelling story and some character depth. Couple those with the signature Gears of War pacing and gameplay and I think we would be looking at a real contender.
Call me Crazy, but I believe Lair needs a sequel. There is alot of potential in Lair to be a really great title it just needs some love from a good developer that is willing to take the time to invest in it.
Most games that under-perform fall of the radar never to be heard from again (accept in insult) Giving a sequel to a less than stellar game can only see the quality of the title improve into a respectable franchis (with the right developer). Granted some titles are beyo...
I would love an update on Quantum Theory.
Also some gameplay or an update on The Last Guardian. I'm also curious about the unannounced titles from Sony. Legend of Dragoon 2 has been kicked around so there is a chance. They should release Legend of Dragoon on PSN...just because.
Am I the only one that wants another game in the Chrono series? Even Chrono Cross on PSN would be most welcome.
I'm sure it depends on how they do it.
When the PS3 first released it (like any launch) didn't have an impressive library of games. That is were backwards compatibility became a selling point as you didn't have to sacrifice your up to date library of PS2 games. As the PS3's library got more and more impressive the need for BC as a selling point became more and more unnecessary. Couple this with customers screaming about BC being unnecessary and to bring the cost down ASAP ju...
We do have a game based on open-ended play with no pre-determined story. It's called the Sim's, and it's one of the most boring games I have ever personally played.
In order to tell a story, many things have to be pre-defined. The main character has a conflict with the antagonist which reaches a conclusion at the end of the story. If any of these factors are not determined then there is no story to speak of.
Even in games with multipule endings, the actual ...
