Let's not forget the ipad works out more expensive in the long run compared to a dedicated console.
Don't you have to pony up like £30-45 per month just to own this tech on a subscription with a network provider? or you can buy it sim free for anything up to £600 and still must activate the tech with a provider pay and go/monthly.
...then you will find within your 24 month contract, and indeed 1 year of this tech's release the ipad3...
I don't doubt Heavy Rain was completed by the majority who purchased it. Reason being is that HR is compelling and those who enjoyed the genre were transfixed. I thoroughly enjoyed the maturity of HR and cannot wait for another mature game from QD. The PS brand is for mature gamers. That is Sony's market, and that is why I prefer PS3. It takes real courage and conviction to release a game like HR in this economic climate. It's the risk takers who reap the rewards...not the FPS, Zo...

Console versions of monster PC games are like impressions.
Impressions like when an entertainer does a believable impression of the voice of someone famous like Robert De Nero or something.
It'll never be as good as the original source...but, so long as the console versions do a good impression of the high end PC version, then i'll be happy with that.

Yep agreed, Sony need to pull their finger out and release multicolored PS3's. They move system on the novelty alone. Make 10,000 limited edition in 6 colors and watch them fly...although I suspect Sony have bigger concerns right now no thanks to LG!

I hope the awful character models are improved and in R2 some levels looked like they were made for a lesser console. The art direction needs to be consistent this time around.
Right now i'm enjoying killzone 3 (that low-gravity level where dead bodies float mid air is amazing). Yes I will purchase R2 day one as I like the alien earth invasion concept, and i'm 99.9% positive the reviews will be favourable.
Well done Killzone 3 though. Watching the explosive effects is pure visual drugs. I'm totally high on this game.
Truth is, they're ALL just another shooter. But in BF3's case...it's just another shooter that is seemingly superior to all the other 'just another shooters'....
