The only thing about being 2nd/3rd rate is this poorly researched list. You'd think the writer of this article would have followed the PS3 2011 template set out by other articles before it lol

Yeah, I agree with most of the comments here.
Sad fact is Black Ops is whack. It had an initial appeal for me, in that I wanted to get to prestige early, but once that's done.....Zzzzzzz.
In-retrospect BC2 is the better game.
Thanks to all who provided sensible answers. Nothing wrong with my HDD/PS3 at all. I had to delete a couple of HD rentals that were expired but still using space. Downloaded and working fine. Once again, cheers ppl.

Thanks, I already own BC2 and play online. You're right, I think DICE make that (MP) game what it is imo.
EA are sitting on a goldmine with DICE onboard. EA just need to get the campaign and inject some fresh ideas into BC3/MOH:Next.
If they do, I can see EA dominating Activision. Gamers can switch in a NY minute. It happened with MOH, which hasn't been great since MOH:Frontline (PS2).
Clearly Nintendo owns the casual market. Nintendo have dominated because Nintendo's ethos is family entertainment since NES, and they never changed that philosophy.
There will always be a place for Nintendo until the end of gaming as we know it. :)
Although desirable if you've a disposable income, I'd be broke if I took the advice of the majority of N4G users in having all 3 systems, or both 360/PS3.
There's enough 1st part Sony titles to supply the wii, 360 & PS3 combined!
Sony played the waiting game with PS3...they knew the 2006/2007 drought would become a distant meaningless memory. Hats off to them :)

It looks good, but its really buggy and laggy MP ruins it. At least on my PS3. Mate, I had DL'd 3 patches, it became worse!!
I'm not hating on a game...i'm angry as a consumer who purchased all the COD games...
I couldn't care if it was 50% off. The issues I've had online with Ops could be described as STRESSFUL!
I was relegated to completing the Campaign since MP was atrocious, then I traded it along with MOH which (shockingly) was more enjoyable than Ops (except for happy campers).
Maybe it's better now, but i'm so done with it.
I'm not bothered with listing games here. I think if you're a PS3 gamer, you already know what amazing games are coming.
However, I do feel it slightly for 360 owners. I'd be pissed if I was 360 loyal and had zero interest in Kinect...I mean, what do I buy/play that's fresh and completely exclusive to my console?
MS need to focus on both loyal hardcore fans, and its new casual markets...unless MS do actually have bombs to drop soon, I can...
How is it that PC owners never pay to play a FPS online, PC games are significantly cheaper most of the time, and have a smaller demographic in games sales compared to consoles...yet remains subscription free?

I have read on N4G and other sites other console owners commenting 'Put up, or Shut up' regarding the complaints of PS3 owners.
Actishite say pay us (MS) and we will make your version P**s all over the PS3's, and with time exclusive DLC.
PS3 owners need to vote with their wallets, do not buy eventual DLC, do not support sub-standard copies.

Infinity Ward should take the 'P' and make 'Modern Warfare - E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event). Base it on the fundamentals that made COD-MW1 great, since imo it was the best in the series.
Not sure if Actishite own the rights to MW, or just the COD name, but it would be funny to see Actishite get shown up!!
