...well yes it is weird. Announce games in particular, like be specific 'Starfox 2' or whatever. Don't just state more games are coming as if nobody expects wii to still be supported!
Imagine Sony stated more exclusive ps3 games were on the way...or Microsoft stated more ex....okay the MS example is a bad one, but you get the point!

I'll admit I never tried the Socom series, and this latest one looks good! However, I wish they made 1st and 3rd person views available (like MGS4).
I like the premise, but I dig FPS's more than 3rd person combat shooters, it's just my own person choice (which i'm sure i'll get disagrees on). I like this Socom though, but i'll wait for (trusted) reviews before getting my feet wet.

3D?? WTF!! Black Ops was in 3D?? ...I didn't notice with all the lag and slowdown this game suffered (PS3). Another undeserved award to another undeserved publisher.

Well nobody outside the game fraternity knows who Nolan North is.
Hollywood wants a well known face to sell the movie, and (no disrespect to North, he's a really talented voice actor, but he's a relatively unknown quantity.
I doubt the movie will be anywhere near the quality of the games...but the world will ask, who the hell is Nolan North?
GT5 is the car enthusiasts dream. It's near complete for every racer out there. People that moan about GT5 is because they have that 'other' console and cannot play it. It's supported more than any other racing game out there, and they're regular significant updates not just patch work.
Which ever way you wanna look at it....nothing, and I mean nothing comes close to the GT series on any format anywhere, at any time in history.

Played my mates copy at his house on launch day, but after the awesome graphics in the storyline, what we're left with is essentially FN4 with refined controls and marginal improvements to visuals.
Think i'll stick with FN4 tbh. The two aren't different enough to warrant purchase. If anything, it'll be 20 quid in a few months. I'll get it then.
I'm a big fan of boxing, but too many awesome games coming out to impulse purchase FN ...
I commented on this particular article or similar one when they did PS3 comparison using Heavy Rain images.
I said then that it was pointless comparing the two...however, after seeing this 360 comparison, it's eben more apparent the PS3 is a few years ahead of the 360 in terms of the tech. The PS3 is subject to the same barriers (albeit in a different way) to the 360..Ram.
But, anyone who denies the PS3 is on par with the 360 visually is a fool. Loo...

You are absolutely right. Given the development cost (even if it is low spec)I cannot see Nintendo being able to release a projection technology into the console.
Another reason is there is no feasible reason to do it...Nintendo have no vested interest in projection tech and it would be more economically viable to release a HDMI console.

Much like casino's hiring ex cheats to keep an eye on the gambling floor to counteract con men and professional cheats.
I think Sony should have done better to keep the security tight or improved. They created the hardware and security protocols, so they need to pull their socks up.

In fairness the wii has had it...they need to bring fwd the release of wii2 asap. It's unreasonable to still be playing SD with all the HD screens in homes. Backward compatible and HD with a little graphical ooomph is what Ninty need now. Wii did tremendously well, but it's time to move with the times, mammoth sales or not....oh, and Ninty need to shake of that kindergarten image they have. It's great for under 12 year olds, but thay need to capture the mature market as well.
