LG must not, and cannot be allowed to bring down a major corporate company like Sony. It's not even a possibility. All LG can do is cause a little disruption until the two legal teams work something out.
All the Sony Hate Brigade would love the demise of the PS3. But the fools are only biting their own tails. It would do more harm to the games industry, having a domino effect that will see the 360 supporters suffer in the end.

I agree totally. It is interesting to me that the PS3 is considered 3rd rank in the western markets, Live is reportedly better and more lucrative than PSN, yet the developer prefers to go exclusive on this 3rd placed, poor mans live we call PSN...??

Yeah you're absolutely right, i'm very insecure about owning a PS3 because
- PS3 has no exclusives, and has to rely on 3rd party support to stay in the game.
- PS3 users are being pushed into the motion control games because Sony see that as the PS3's future and care little for hardcore players.
- PS3 needs a bigger storage medium because developers can't fit games on on disc.

And so it begins....bash the PS3's flagship franchises because lets face it, no other game console can come close to pumping out the level of intensity and graphical fidelity K3, UC3 and many other exclusives are doing.
Insecure console owners cannot handle the fact that PS3 is a powerhouse. Yes, I respect the capabilities of 360, Wii but come on, nitpicking is so lame when it's clear to see K3 is an amazing piece of software.

Okay firstly i'm not into the whole bashing console thing....
But, you get the impression the PS3 is under much more scrutiny than the 360 in its software assessments by the mainstream media.
It's almost as if the 360 is a youth hostel where many have come and gone, and the PS3 is like a 5 star hotel where everything is meant to be amazing and flawless.
Unfortunately you have to see the PS3 for what it is...a great game console ...

Okay, I will start by saying I was a very early adopter of the 360 (launch day sucker) and was initially impressed with MS as a serious competitor in the consoles arms race.
However, MS' focus seems to have changed since Kinect. MS have all but abandoned the hardcore that gave them the market share they so badly wanted.
Now MS seem to be giving the middle finger to the hardcore and are reliant on 3rd party publishers to pick up the slack. BIG mishta...

I'm not big on handheld game consoles, but this NGP is great. I would consider purchase if the price was £199 or less.
I would want an HDTV input, just so could take it to a friends home and show it off on the big screen.
Otherwise, not bothered. I'm happy to stick with PS3 at home.
All is not lost...these guys have had a few hit n misses like any developer outfit. However, I am sure the talent pool within Bizarre Creations will find a new home.
Sony should sign these guys and set up an arcade centric racing studio. Sony could do with a racer that is real life car based, but not so simulated since we have the amazing GT5 already. Motorstorm is okay, but IMO has lost it's way since MS1.

PS3 owners have more than enough, and outside of owning a 360, how important is having Gears 3 anyway. I don't think I care if Gears hits PS3...sure many like Gears, but i've easily sailed thru nearly 5 years without the franchise in my beloved black box....total waste of a quote imo.
