If MS release another console so soon after Slim/Kinect hardware, then they have literally slapped millions of new users in the face HARD!!!
...and either this developer has next box kit (highly doubtful) or have some insider knowledge that would mean the next box will be PC based again, therefore the developer can develop based on current high end PC specs...just saying.
Okay, if we're going to get technical...all hardware is obsolete before it leaves the conveyor belt at the processing plant.
That includes PC hardware too. Such is the pace of technology, there's always going to be something better to replace what you have.
Just be content with what you have. If you never played a PC game, then you're missing out on absolutely nothing at all!
I think the XMB needs updating. It's still slow and cumbersome. I like the 360's menus, except for the childish avatars, it's easier to navigate and faster.
Sony are renowned for their hardware, MS for software..I accept that, but is it rocket science to streamline XMB to match the more efficient menu's on other devices/consoles?

There is no comparison between console and PC, there cannot possibly be either. I prefer playing console games than PC. Most PC gamers own either a 360 or PS3 or both, simply because the PC (generally) isn't getting the games console owners...
I hope the offline maintenance has some significance...that's an awful longtime if it produces nothing!

All the comments that state 5hrs is good enough are the type of people that are happy to get shafted paying taxes and ripped off by game publishers.
Also, it proves my point 'SELFISH' because as long as they have an internet connection they don't care about single player's experiences.
So Uncharted 2 a lengthy campaign is repetitive, and needs to be trimmed??? GTFO!!!

I've completed KZ3 on hard, and re-started it on elite setting (awesome and frantic!)... I have yet to sample the MP of KZ3. I am waiting for the incoming update/patch that fixes/balances first.
Any idea when we can expect it.....anybody? :)

I take it you're online so it's easy for you to comment I guess. Dude you are saying 10 hrs, not me..but since you like to put words in others mouths, I feel 10 hrs is fair. If the game is repetitive, it's nothing to do with the length, it's the developer running out of ideas.
Half Life 2 is a good solid game with a good length, and is NOT repetitive at all. Finall...
Kinect/Move although desirable, is not a must accessory. In the case of MS they should be focused on the main reason consumers purchased the 360 in the first instance...good core games.
MS are focused on it's Kinect strategy because it is a huge investment for them and naturally MS will want to make it the success Kinect consumers deserve. But it shouldn't be to the detriment of the core community.
There's a lot of talk that the 360 is dead....
It's a tad selfish for reviewers/publishers/consumers to say the campaign length is not a major point. There are still people without internet access (i'm not one of them) who will feel cheated by this trend of rationalizing by stating the real meat of a game is in it's MP.
5 hrs is the equivalent of around £8 per an hr... Games aren't exactly cheap you know!

I didn't buy the 1st Bayonetta, but i'm defo interested in this one. I played a little on the 360, then on the PS3 few days later at my friends house... admittedly, it played better on the 360. Maybe they'll make the two identical this time?

Stop tryna flame! If you read the comments, the 360 users themselves are mostly agreeing with the article..and strangely enough, PS3 fanboys as you so call it, are actually and for once united with the 360 users regarding the article. True gamers wouldn't want any system to fail.
