I predict that COD will have it's swansong on the next gen PS4/XBOX3. It'll be a launch show piece, dazzle the eye candy brigade with its amazingly lifelike visuals, the game play will remain exactly the same as this gen, people will flock to it like sheep...then it will die out slowly, making way for a more substantial FPS.

Sold my Black Ops & Medal of Boredom. I got fed up with the lame PS3 port (don't care if it's fixed now).
Unless something fresh happens next in the franchise, this could well be my last COD game under Activisions watch.
Looks like i'm stick with BC2, MW2 and the (hopefully when released) good BC3.

Why of course ME1 is better than ME2, but is that because it's essentially a 360 exclusive, and never coming to PS3?
You see, if in some alternate universe where ND is a multi-platform published studio, I would be happy for 360 owners to have the chance to play Uncharted 1, just cos it's an awesome game.

The PS3 version of Black Ops is a total disaster on so many levels. Treyarch aren't dummies, they can fix it,after two updates still broken.. it's got conspiracy all over it. I and my friends traded it in, now we're back to MW2.

Hehe, i'm getting chuckles from some of these comments.
Let's remember the plot being carried over is not integral to ME2, but a very nice feature 360 owners had that PS3 owners wouldn't turn there noses up to.
But, it would appear that some are now calling ME2 an inferior product compared to ME1, probably because it is exclusive to 360.
Is it a coincidence that ME1 is now the better game because ME2 has found it's way...

Why is it sad?... If PS3 owners really care to play ME1 do you realise the price of a 2nd hand/refurbished (old model) 360 and a copy of the game would probably be less than £70 - £80? in the UK at least.
Not that sad at all.... I suspect that graphic novel will be enough for most to enjoy the game, and what you never had, you don't really miss.
Makes sense to utilize the new engine anyway. It's already developed so no extra cost issues, and why go backwards?
I agree with the comments about just wanting to play the thing. It was awesome on 360, it'll be awesome on PS3....Job well done :)

Nope, it only pisses me off that the article was based on very good Kinect sales, yet that is not enough for some ppl who are only interested in flaming and trolling. If you read my previous comments, I don't care about motion gaming at all, and I even stated MS's did well with that 'impressive figure'.

Just making a PC comparison over consoles is a BIG fail!
You buy consoles so that you don't have to keep upgrading the Graphics card every 3-6 months.

Yes, we PS3 users will no doubt have a single disc solution, but I was referring to the 360 version.
Off subject real quick -
If MS do not add Blu-Ray to the NEXT-BOX, then it shows how full of stubborn pride they are. Chances are they'll develop a propriety format of their own, but Blu-Ray is not just Sony...so many other companies are involved with it too.
