the camera will no doubt be an issue. It was in the first, but the sheer brilliance of the gameplay and animation put the issues to back of one's mind.
They acknowledge that this is perhaps the most fluid and polished action gameplay of all time, but I just wish EDGE provided some context to their story. When did they preview this and what build did they play?d love

Dominated by Nintendo loving, handheld doting gamers that don't spend anywhere near the amount of money on software that the burgeoning American market and solid European market do.
I really thought the departure of designer Hironobu Sakaguchi (along with composer Nobuo Uematsu) to found Mistwalker in 2004 to catch the prevailing winds might've woken up Square a lot earlier.
Now that "The Last Remnant" is coming to both next-gen consoles, should we speculat...
I need a reason to pick this game up again. I put in at least 60hrs into it and loved every single bit. Best next-gen JRPG I've played.
IGN writes:
"That being said, you are going to have to put up with some extremely weak visuals within Haze. There is a litany of problems with the game, from the odd warping of allied soldiers that blink into view suddenly at arbitrary checkpoints to poor texture work. Many of the environmental textures are generic and weak, and you'll frequently see seams or tearing constantly pop up within the game, which distracts from the action onscreen. The worse example of this has to...
The graphics leave a lot to be desired. But the basis of any truly great game is gameplay. If this can do a Mass Effect - lite FPS and nail the gameplay I'll be interested. Graphics can always be polished closer to release.
The game has had a troubled past, but it shows Silicon Knights commitment to quality that half way through development they realised that the Unreal Engine would not fulfill their vision as promised, so instead of shipping out a half baked game, they went through the arduous task of building their own engine from scratch to ensure their original vision.
Silicon Knights have a right to pat themselves on the back for that. And if having their own engine now means we'll see a Too Hu...
Don't forget exclusives from Mistwalker (Cry On) and Atlus (Spectral Force 3), and the multiplatform "The Last Remnant" from Square. Add Tales & Infinite Undiscovery and that makes a nice JRPG line up.
And on top of that the 360 will dominate the Western RPG genre with 10Tacle Studios (Elveon), Silicon Knights (Too Human), Lionhead (Fable 2), Ascaron (Sacred 2), Firefly (Dungeon Hero) and MMOs by RealTime Worlds (APB) and Webzen (Huxley). And that's before we get an...
"GTA:IV will sell 7.6m copies on the Xbox360 and 5.4m copies on the PS3"
That's a lot better than the 2:1 sales ratio at Gamestop in the US. If the prediction is correct that's a 360:PS3 ratio of 1.4:1 or 59% of GTAIV copies being sold on 360 which sounds about right.
I think 8million have sold in first two weeks, so that means 5million have gotta sell between May 10th and May 31st.
I have no idea how anybody who claims to be a gamer could post something that shows such ignorance of one of history's most important game designers.
This guy is a living legend, god of the god game (lol) and was designing before many of us were ever conceived ourselves. And whilst he has the tendency to over speak, the greatest irony is that even if you begrudge him for that his games still tend to be far ahead of their time and competition!
As a bit of a primer for...
This is heartening news for Halo fans post-Bungie. Frank will continue to contribute his significant talents to the Halo universe.
It's probably also a good thing for Bungie, as they will now have the opportunity to reinvent themselves with a new lead that doesn't carry the Halo baggage.
Further the arguments are largely based around the supposed failure of GTAIV to drive hardware, when the NPD only includes the first three days of release.
Any impact either way won't be known until we have the May figures.
Whislt entirely different genres you're seeing the same jump in, jump out co-op being encouraged with the Too Human, Saints Row 2, Fable 2 & Viva Pinata 2. It's a move for the better and the independent difficulty settings is a very clever idea, the hardcore can play insane but their gf, mates or younger siblings can jump in on the action as well without feeling ostracized.
This looks like a lot of fun. I just hope the humour stays in tact for the finished product.
Fantastic resource! :)
Much better than those blurry videos. :)
Sony knows they have to improve their online (hence Home) and third party publisher relations (Kaz admitted last week they got off on the wrong foot at the PS3's expense).
Microsoft, which if the strong rumours about motion controls are true along with the move to a more diverse first party software range, have clearly indicated through their actions (not so much their words) that they know they have to challenge the Wii for the casual market.
As for Nintendo? Well i...
Whilst what you state is correct in terms of Sony getting its online act together the statement is correct as nothing has been "realized" (ie. exists) at this point in time. Just semantics.
I wasn't specifically talking about Final Fantasy, but in regards to it never happening it already has! Final Fantasy XI was released on PS2 in 2004, and later on the Xbox360 in 2006.
EDIT: It was also released on PC.
Please explain disagrees.
