It's like Chrono Trigger on steroids! haha
Looks fantastic this game just keeps creeping up my most wanted list!
The physics is based on the Havok physics engine and most journalists have creamed themselves about the remarkable integration of physics with user generated vehicles.
Each to their own I guess. :)
I agree mate this is pure speculation for web hits.
I still think Halo Wars will come this year but it's being held off for E3. As for Mass Effect 2, well Bioware have previously stated that whilst multiplatform was likely, in such a case it would be a timed exclusive for 360.
First off Michael Pachter is as bad as Jack Thompson. He's a complete media slut!
Secondly, GTAV will be multiplatform. Why? EA will most likely own Take-Two and the GTA rights within a couple of months. There's no way EA/Take-Two would ignore the higher software sales of GTAIV on 360. If need be, they'll just put GTAV on multiple discs for 360. EA/Take-Two are not interested in petty console wars, they're only interested in mullah... and multiplatform means more green.

It's heartening at least that Shane Kim says the following:
"However, he did say that Microsoft has to be careful about doing such a thing, as it could be "dangerous" to blatantly rip-off Nintendo's Wii controller He added that Microsoft has to find and do what is best for itself, noting that what works for Nintendo might not work for Microsoft."
That tells me that if it does exist, it's not going to look like the picture next to this article or b...
On the one hand they're saying thanks for the memories and on the other hand they're saying traditional platforming is dead.
Light hearted or not. That's confidence!
Yeah it would not surprise me if there was a Ninja Gaiden 3 despite what's been said. If NG2 sells well, I'm sure Itagaki find time to change his mind. lol :)
Yeah I agree. Love the idea of finally getting rid of all those arcade demos that have O gamerscores! The new personal profiles look much better and group chat... FINALLY!!!
I think there's no doubt that Gears 2 will sell very well (9+million), and Fable 2 should do quite well (5+million).
For PS3, MGS4 could do well amongst the hardcore (6+million) whilst Resistance 2 may well do similar figures (6+million).
But this all ignores the Wii and it's WiiFit monster! That thing, whether you think it's a game or not, will sell more than any other this year (12+million) thanks to the casual waggle loving masses.
This game is just getting nastier by the day!
I love the Kill Bill influence with the Spaghetti Western theme before all hell breaks loose.
VENGEANCE IS COMING :)
It's what made me play the Halo3 campaign more than once! But then again Gears and Crackdown were great fun with just 2 so I assume this'll be much the same. :)
hazeblaze stated:
"The whole dog thing was a stupid idea to me. Especially b/c they didn't show any usefulness for having a dog."
I don't know what videos or previews you've been looking at but the dog is the HUD and largely the UI! lol :P
It's one of the key innovations that's been promoted from day one.
Personally, the game design ideas behind the dog are some of the most interesting of this generation.
I agree mate. I'll keep an eye on this one but Pandemic is a studio to watch this year with Saboteur, Mercs 2 and LoTR: Conquest all on the release horizon.
@Shadow
I wasn't claiming the article was biased, I was simply stating that a more balanced/comprehensive article would have to consider the impact of WiiFit on all consoles in North America to give a clearer picture of the potential outcome in the marketplace.
I have no doubt WiiFit is going to have a massive impact on both consoles ability to attract more casual consumers.
I love Rare's art design, it's such a refreshing change from all the blacks and greys of FPS.
To claim that Wii Fit will impact the 360 exclusively and not the PS3 is just silly.
How funny is this guy! Leaves Letterman and Conan for dead.
Viva Pinata was indeed awesome. And if you haven't played it how can you disagree?
