Aside from some indie games, 3rd party support for the Switch isn't really taking off. It really seems like the Switch will follow the Wii U in terms of 3rd party support, which doesn't bode well for its future. The game library is very thin right now, with not a lot coming down the road.
Unfortunately the VC emulation quality is garbage, while the NES Classic Edition has very good emulation quality. Just look at this comparison video:

It's hard to understand why Nintendo is unable to deliver good quality emulation quality on VC, but so far they have failed to do a good job in that area.
Lol. And I heard that if you turn the screen off, you can get another hour or so of play. To play games, just listen to the music and sound effects to help understand what is happening.
Agreed. If 3rd party developers (not just a few indies) don't get on board soon for the Switch, it's going to follow the same pattern as the Wii U, and fade away in a year or two. Nintendo's own IPs are not enough to support the system, just like they weren't for the Wii U.
No, it's YOU again making excuses for Nintendo's poor gaming hardware.
Good luck playing online with that crappy Switch wifi, lol.
Then you wasted your money paying extra for a portable, with far inferior graphics, specs, and features in comparison to the true home consoles (PS4 and XB1).
Not really, the tiny joycons, buttons, and dpad aren't going to work well on fighting games.
No one should buy any products from Nintendo when they conduct their business in such an anti-consumer way. There is no excuse for them to discontinue a product that is in such high demand. This company is completely out of touch with what gamers want, the sooner they are liquidated, the better.
It's painfully obvious by now that the Switch won't be getting solid 3rd party support, just like the Wii and Wii U before it. Nothing has changed, Nintendo is still embarrassingly stuck in the past, completely unable to deliver a genuinely competitive piece of gaming hardware. Time for them to stop making bad gaming hardware and just go software only.
Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition (on both PS4 and XB1) was available for $40 as a preorder, from both Best Buy and Amazon, if you had Gamers Club Unlocked (BB) or Prime (Amazon). I do agree that $60 is way too much for the remastered versions of Bulletstorm, but I think Gearbox realized that and subsidized the discounts. I preordered copies for both platforms (for $40 each) because I love the original game and really want to see a sequel. It's a fantastic game that has a lot of potential...
Except in 18 months, the Switch will be dead, on clearance in the bargain bins. Enjoy Zelda, it's probably one of only a few half decent games you'll get in the lifespan of the Switch.
Ultimately, the lack of 3rd party games for the Switch will result in its failure, just like it did with the Wii U before it. It's not hard to understand that gamers want a good selection of games from many different developers, and that just isn't happening with the Switch. Nintendo needs to just stop producing gaming hardware, they really don't know how to design good gaming systems anymore.
Save your money for the inevitable revised hardware, the original Switch hardware is trash.
I will summarize the upcoming Nintendo Direct with two simple words: "Please understand"
Because that's really all Nintendo can say about the many design flaws, defects, and cheap materials found in the Switch (along with a huge lack of games). One of the worst gaming hardware launches ever.
PC only? Pass.
Also the graphics are way too simple, looks like a Lego FPS with even worse graphics.
It's really not even "worthwhile" as a portable console, based on the many design flaws, defects, and cheap materials.
I have this game preordered through Amazon for both the PS4 and XB1 ($40 per game), should be delivered today. Fantastic single player FPS game, one of my favorites of that type from the last generation! If you have Amazon Prime or Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked, you can get Bulletstorm for only $40 from either website.
RIP Wii U, the gimmick that failed (like many others from Nintendo).
Here's a better title for this article:
"Hey Nintendo, thanks for screwing over customers who just wanted an NES Classic Edition, by underproducing it and allowing scalpers to snatch most of them up, before regular people even had a chance to get one!"
I hope this company crashes and burns soon, due to their many bad products and poor decisions. Based on the weak 3rd party support for the Switch, and the almost complete lack of games for it,...
