Motion Controls can work really well for hardcore games like Third person/first person shooters, action adventure games, action/real time RPG's, etc.
Kind of late to do this....
"Madden STILL lacks weight, momentum, foot planting, realistic looking sideline player models, enough penalties (is illegal contact or PI ever called in Madden?), good A.I, realistic attempts at tackles (the IE tackles really don't resemble tackles in real-life that much at all), a good and actual working challenge system, realistic pursuit on the ball, (players zooming to pick it off or sliding), receivers that aren't passive and actually try to move to get the ball, good CPU pl...
I have a feeling that Valve and maybe Samsung (more likely Valve) will unveil something gaming related at E3 2013.
I don't free to play, to be honest. I always hated freemium things in general.
The american cover of Ico should be on the list.
Did the article really explain why it won't, that much?
hell yeah
I would've, but I want to get an original Wii quickly because I NEED that GameCube controller, and their games (not all will be put on VC).
Nintendo said the Wii U supports 1080p
I think it's gonna be a close race next gen because everyone is different.
Nintendo is going for hardcore, younger hardcore and casual (albeit a little less) by making a next gen console in terms of hardware. Sony (based on all their recent patents) are looking to create a virtual reality gaming platform for all types of games/gamers. Microsoft is creating an all in one all-you-need box for your living-room entertainment, going towards casual a bit more this time around. ...
The Wii U doesn't seem to be going exactly for the casual this time, it seems to be hardcore, and young hardcore gamers (e.g. an 8 year-old who wants to play mario but his parents want to watch tv so he can swap it to his gamepad)
I think it's Microsoft who's leading towards casual more than Nintendo is.
Well Mario is different since they don't really have much sequels, there just trying to appeal to the younger gamer who IS a hardcore gamer and wants a bit of a challenge in their games.
The Last of Us, Uncharted 2/3, and especially Beyond: Two Souls says otherwise.
I think this is what the big 3 is doing the next generation:
Wii U - Regular pure console that has some advanced hardware (yes it does, it's just that the games released right now don't take advantage of it), not much apps aside from basic apps like internet browsing, movies, pictures, etc. meant to bring back the hardcore gaming audience (which I think it will), with some extra flavor (tablet style controller)
Xbox Infinity (If that's what MS is ...
Sorry if I sound stupid here but what does games for windows live or xbox titles from windows 8 mean/refer too?
Is it me, or I was the only one who liked the "shping" sound the guy was making in the commercial?
Stop giving crap to us then.
Look at FIFA 13 for the Wii!!
Dude, how many times have you heard some sort of rumor that could have legitimacy (The tweet about the durango press conference, the job ads, all the patents, how they took down the domains of Xbox 8, and more importantly, how they took down all those leaked documents), compared to how the only thing we probably know about the PS4 is the codename, Orbis and that's probably it.
Why do people ever take the time post these stuff? Who does that? Who are these people?
