I don't want Gaikai
Because I don't want to have to rebuy my favorite PS2 games (And there's no guarantee they will put up every single PS2 game)
Props to Sony. I mean, they lost over 5 billion dollars I think this year alone, the company itself is on decline rapidly, even in Japan, but hey, Playstation is still strong.
When your system doesn't come with a memory card/memory, and a memory card with sufficient space (32 GB) costs $89 (maybe even higher), there's a problem
The 3ds gives you more variety though (Realtime/Turn-Based Strategy games, platform Mario games, the 3-d effect, adventure games)
Sure it isn't the japanese pronunciation, Whore and "Whole" lol
just joking
I'm surprised the article didn't mention the lack of good stories/good plot development for the games in recent years
Well yes, the exterior hardware design and games released early on, lack of DVD along with the lack of any online games shifted away some of the older audience that bought the PS2 or Xbox instead.
Good article, I ; liked the humor, especially when they mentioned Sony copying with the vita, lol
The only reason the GameCube didn't sell is that it looked too much like a toy.
Look how the Wii turned out?
Not like running around the room, but like actually feeling like you are they're, like wearable headware that doesn't require you to move around that much, but the game makes you feel as if you really are moving, like, similar to cartoons when they put you in the world, just that you yourself isn't there, like, you know...
Eh, I think Sony and Microsoft (especially Sony) focused too much on the graphics and trying to be epic, that's why the PlayStation 3 costed $499, $599, etc. They should have had the update the PSOne to PS2 had. It's to a point in which, they should have just made a dedicated device, dedicated to bringing the best gaming experience possible, like the Gamecube, with its wireless controller, comfortable controller, affordable hardware, good graphics, etc.
Virtual Reality,
can we just confirm the PS4 is what it will be all about, just based off the patents?
Gaming should move on to convenience. Put your disc in the console, while you play, it downloads to the system, so that if you're leaving, you can swap the game to your controller's screen and play anywhere, and so that if you wanna play the game, you don't need the disc anymore, all you need is the controller so that you can simply stream the software to your controller, and save anywhere.
Can you describe the link?
Wii had a lot of great hardcore titles tho
Final Fantasy XIII?
If it was 30 minutes, than it would be an issue, since I can be playing a game and I have to use the bathroom but stay longer than expected or eat lunch longer than expected.
Anyone remember Icons?
That's the problem, dual screen gaming isn't always needed, but it can still work but only in the manner of the Nintendo DS where the screens are like right near each other.
It feels to much like one, as not all games really need a second screen, even though it would be nice.
