Sony will make it cost $399 or $449 to make a profit, but package it with some games in order to make it look less expensive for the consumer.
Thanks
Thanks. I actually just bought Demon's Souls.
What I also meant is that games that have stories should also try to make them feel more like games by giving more interactivity and nonlinearity (JRPG's for instance).
To many games with "kill or defeat multiple with weapons".
I don't know why, I'm starting not to care about graphics anymore. I want more games that don't focus on high production values and always try to tell some epic story in a fantasy setting.
they usually end up having boring, repetitive gameplay.
They never even FEEL like games.
When they say "Game for the first time", I'm pretty sure that's a sign that Sony is aiming for more playstyles, and more types of games.
They won't ditch the core, they're just probably trying to include more games that aren't story based I assume.
"new playing options, not improved hardware specs'"
THANK YOU!!!
Too many games got stale or were never fun to play because of the standard controllers.
Now all we need is some more games that feel a bit more like games, instead of cinemas with some interactivity that gets repetitive (I'm looking at you Uncharted 1).
True, but I'm talking about retail console releases, many of the indie low budget games are for PC, XBLA/PSN, or handhelds.
The only problem is that many of these video games are not even games. They're interactive cinema's with usually mediocre to bad control schemes and repetitive gameplay (Uncharted, for instance).
I just hope the controls are good.
But one can say all video games are "time wasters"
I feel as if the problem with games are not only that the games themselves are too repetiive, but also, they play the same, and, they always try too hard to give you an experience. Final Fantasy XIII, for example, tries hard to be compellling, but fails. Also, I'm probably in the minority here, but Uncharted 1 is also an example.
Also, I feel as if some games should have their own controllers. Shooting games just don't feel fun to me with regular standard controllers....
XIII Final Fantasy: Lighting Strikes 4Ever
People don't necessarily mind shelling $300 plus for a tablet since it's a complete entertainment device.
If the PS4 was also your Television service provider and served as your Computer's operating system, than it wouldn't be an issue to buy it at that price then.
That's kind of funny, don't Japanese shows generally show more fanservice and blood than American shows?
I've actually played FFX and FFXIII, and both are actually very different, with some few similarities.
Final Fatasy X is turn-based with random battles, limit breaks, it has a fixed camera angle, it has some puzzles (cloister of trials), it is less linear (in nearly everything), ability to switch characters in between battles, it has far more instances of NPC's and shops, etc.
They're only similar in terms of the upgrading/leveling system. The sto...
Buying Madden NFL 13
Yes, not many good JRPG's this gen for home consoles, I heard Vesperia was good so I'd rather play that than try to play that uh, well, Final ... Fantasy.. XIII
It's because most games themselves only feel like they're worth $20 at most, so why spend $600 for a device to play it own, ya know?
They have, and the commercials aren't getting much positive feedback from anyone, even those who like Nintendo.
I hate your use of the word "hardcore" in this though. Zelda doesn't have to God of War-like to be mature and appeal to hardcore gamers. Mario is popular with everybody, just because it has mass market appeal that doesn't mean a hardcore gamer can play it. Many people put Super Mario Galaxy as one of the best games of the generations, and in fact, is in the top 3 most critically acclaimed games of ALL TIME (and hey, what do you know, one of the other games in that top 3 happ...
