I liked SDvsRAW2006... granted I only put my PSP to sleep to avoid some loading screens, but still, I don't think it's one of the worst portable game of all time...

Reviewing a game based on its name? So I guess it means that spin-off should all be getting bad reviews, despite how good some are, since they don't play like the game they originate from.

Anyone who bought the game at launch has the Rock DLC included. I bought mine one week after launch and the DLC was included as well.So technically, it is included with the game.

Now that you mention it, I don't want to whine about it, but they do seem needlessly big cases for a tiny card. Not that I really care, since I plan on buying all my games on the PSN anyway (unless some games don't make it to the PSN like KHBBS and Lumines on the PSP never made it)

Well, that took a while, but I'd rather wait for a quality game than have 15 kung-fu riders I guess. Can't wait for this one.

That's like saying MS doesn't have faith in Windows since you can get Office on Mac.

Great bundle.

Anyone know of any other similar bundles? (other than the indie royale and indie gala?)

I hope this time EA doesn't stop supporting the game.

Thanks for the info Darth, forgot about that; guess I'd be okay with the 3D display then (if they decide to make a bigger one).

When you say it's not even a TV, do you mean it doesn't have a TV tuner? If so, I can't see the appeal of it, unless you really only want to game in 3D; as you could get a bigger HD non-3D TV for 499$ (or 399$ for that matter).

Then again, Hulk Hogan is a part of iMpact, which airs on Spike. While it might not seem fair, he's basically part of Spike.

A bit too expensive, I wouldn't be surprised if some were sold at 30-40$ about 6 months after the game's launch. Same with Resistance 2/Fallout 3/Infamous 2/Halo's Collector's editions, that can't manage to sell even when priced at 30$ at my local FutureShop...

To be fair, Activision has created/acquired new studios over the last few years, although they're pretty much all Co-D related. Beachhead studios and Sledgehammer games come to mind.

As for new IPs, they tried a few times, but never really backed them, Singularity was a decent game, but a lack of marketing pretty much doomed the game; although it's unlikely it would have sold as well as CoD since the game had its issues. Blur is another new IP, it got plenty of public...

DotA's community is pretty harsh, and for better or for worse, the same applies to similar games like HoN and LoL, to lesser degrees though (in my opinion).

Gone was the sidebar, replaced by a bottom one which looked and worked like the ones found in most RTS (including SC and Wc).

Buildings can be built anywhere, not in an "influence zone" around some specific buildings.

Buildings are built by workers, and are made on the battlefield, allowing them to be destroyed in the process.

Units are being queued in buildings, allowing you to create 10 units at the same time if you have 10 buildi...

I wonder if this game will come close to being as good as RA2. To me, the CnC franchise has been going downhill after RA2:YR; with 4 being a joke.

And, @fl1pp13, I'd much rather have a traditional CnC game like, well, CnC or Red Alert than another Generals game. In many ways, Generals played more like StarCraft set in a modern wolrd, rather than a CnC game.

They most likely keep him there bacause he is the CEO of the biggest third party publisher in the world. While some may not like his strategy, which is building a few very popular IPs rather than developing plenty of new ones, it definately works. As of right now, Activision Blizzard has the biggest MMO on the market with WoW, the best selling FPS with Call of Duty (which is also likely the best selling franchise of this generation). They have one of the best RTS on the market (SC2) and soon ...

while I agree with those saying it is not needed at launch because the Vita should have plenty of quality Vita games, I still wonder why it's not available at launch. The PSP and even the iPhone can run PSX games, so why not the more powerful Vita?

Yes, let's call them stupid for buying a game they actually enjoy.

I wonder when it became wrong to buy a game you like. Some people on N4G (and some other gaming websites) seem to believe that Call of Duty sells more than say, Psychonauts or some other quality but more niche game, only because of the brand. While the CoD brand does help alot, people buy it every year because the game offers some fast paced arena gameplay and a majority of people like it.

They now know that a Chris Jericho DLC would sell very well. I wish he were in the game though.
