You cant blame 3rd parties for not wanting onto the WiiU. Nintendo made a console that wasnt very easy to develop for. Add in the weak hardware and the 3rd party crews would have to work double-hard for a game that isnt in league with the X1 or PS4 version.
When you couple those difficulties with the utilization of the gamepad and the low adoption numbers, 3rd parties cant be held completely responsible.
Virtual Console isnt what I would call a "gimmick". PS4 and X1 are already opening up their legacy IP's on current gen consoles, why wouldnt Nintendo? Ninty has a gigantic catalog they can crack open.
The Wii U gamepad would be a gimmick in my opinion.
You have to put the game in context though. In the early 90's there wasn't much for multiple endings or party members or time travel. And the epoch blew my mind! This game broke the boundaries for story telling at the time. I mean, chrono didn't even have to live to beat the game. It was revolutionary at the time.
In Steam we trust.
This will be one of the few titles I purchase at launch this year. Cant wait for Round 2.
I think portables can be an addition to gaming Pcs, not an end at all. The Nvidia Shield does wondrous things for a little unit. The streaming capabilities are spot on, the controls are tight, it has Console-Mode when youre on the road and want to hook up to a Tv.
PLUS it has a powerful Tegra 4 processor for android gaming. Android games are actually finally using that power as well. Im sick of cell games being of low quality.
If Steam could get into Android gaming....Why...

Youre kind of all over the place. First you blab about all the games bieno is missing out on (and he may have all the consoles too) and then you say Im a fake ass gamer because I put up some Pc exclusives.
You are too funny guy, I own an X1 and Wii U and my Pc is my lead console. Big deal.

Sounds like they learned from Microsoft's mistake. Ms promised some big Pc love for a few years now and it is still on the horizon. Maybe DX12 and Windows 10 will change my tune. We will see.
You cant develop a game on a console, you can only develop for a console. All games derive from a Pc/Mac at some time. You would think it makes a Pc port even easier, no?
Off TV Play only works if you're in the same room as your Wii U. I dont have a vita, but I would imagine you can travel farther than 15' away from the PS4 with it.
I literally cannot turn the corner in my media room without losing connection. I always felt this hampered the Wii U experience. I would love to roam freely around the house with my gamepad. For a portable peripheral, you sure are tethered to the console.
Using more than 2 cores excites me a lot more than the ever rising VRAM requirements on games.
Eek. My ol Gtx 670 barely surpasses the minimum. Good thing I have until May to upgrade before this launches.

Nintendo Fanboys know better. I love the Wii U and Ive been a Nintendo fan for 20-odd years, but lets be realistic. Ninty Fanboys would do well to stay out of those articles.
