Wow that looks cumbersome. I rock the Nvidia Shield for my portable gaming.
Localizing games is just a drop in the bucket. Nintendo is still hampered with sluggish Wii U sales and 3rd party abandonment.
These localized games are niche games at best. Fatal Frame will not be the savior of the Wii U Im afraid. Bayonetta 2 is a great example. It is a good game (from what Im told) and yet it didnt even move 600k.
Whether its through Nintendo's past choices or not, the only big games at this point are big names: Zelda, Star Fox, Kirby, Yoshi, Ma...
Personally I find that unacceptable for this gen. I dont need every game 1080p/60fps, but I expected more from this gen to be honest.
There is still time to unlock each consoles potential, but to lay back and say 720p is good enough is something Im not willing to do.
PC is the broadest possible term you could bring up to troll.
Are you concerned with Origins, Uplay, Steam? What free Pc service are you upset about?
True, but with EA making games like Dragon Age:Inquisition Origin-exclusive this will unfortunately extend the life of Origin.
I dont care for the fracturing of DRM. Im with you, ditch Origins and Uplay and go with Steam.
My Steam library is all digital. 90 Games that I can play on any Pc that can run the game at any time. Digital gaming is certainly not consumer robbery.
I find it highly unlikely that Nintendo will tweak the gamepad. It just doesnt make sense why they wouldnt do it before or even have it optional at launch. Personally I play more with the Gamepad Pro than ever with the tablet. The gamepad is very comfortable and lasts for days. If I want anything its for them to lengthen the range of the gamepad to actually make it useful. If I could play throughout the house it would appeal to me much more.
And while I would welcome a ne...
Simply put, the 3ds has more Must-Own games in their catalogue than the WiiU at the moment. Plus the games are much cheaper by comparison. I play my 3ds far more often than my WiiU.
The Wii U will only get cheaper so there is no rush to buy.
@Blues
There arent too many Devs looking for Modest Returns though. Why would they be lured to the Wii U if they will break even or hope for a profit?
One of Nintys biggest problems is UNDERHYPING stuff! Nobody knew what the hell a Wii U was when it launched and their games are woefully underadvertised. Nintendo needs to pull its self out of 1990 and stop relying on word of mouth.
I think that Nintendo needs to face this 3rd party business head on. They may be able to look the other way and pretend it doesnt matter this gen, but its poor planning in the long run. Nintendo does make great 1st party games, some of the best in fact. So why not bolster that with some 3rd party love? I cant imagine the pressure Ninty is under by trying to be the sole developer on the system. Other than Zelda, Xenoblade, and Star Fox, there isnt too many household names that will be rel...
Bayonetta 2 was not a great seller on the Wii U. This was not the vindication that 3rd parties were looking for. COD and GTA are proven sellers time and again.
I feel Xenoblade will be headed the same path: Great game with poor sales due to being on the Wii U.
Jurassic World
Here and accounted for.
PcGamer hasn't run into any of these issues, nor has anyone else. Seems like a select few have install problems, big deal. It's already patched.
If the game is that bad of a port I will just wait for 3 months and get it for dirt cheap on Steam. Mods will have a good lead time by then.
How on earth did this story get to 230 degrees within 2 minutes?
Looks Great! I always felt Reptile was underpowered in most MK games. He looks like a mash-up of Reptile and Scorpion from past games. Looking forward to some air juggles.
" Electronic Arts posted its financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2015"
3rd Quarter of 2015? Thats a pretty far projection from EA....
Simply put, buy a 3ds now. When you do have one, you wont know how you lived without it. I have both the small and the XL versions. Nothing can beat portable gaming and Nintendo is the master.
Since the 3ds has been out for a few years there are many, many must-own games: Resident Evil:Revelations, Bravely Default, Fire Emblem, Mario 3d, Star Fox 64, Plus indies and nostalgia gaming in eShop.
I really cant say enough about it. Its one of the best portables I have ever owne...
If you are simply upgrading the 3ds, I would say save your monies. If you dont have a 3ds at the moment, you would do yourself well to pick one up. 3ds has many incredible games that you do not want to miss out on.
I would drill holes in my X1 before mounting that monstrosity onto it. The X1 barely fits in my stand as it is.
