The 2nd Screen on the Ds is Millimeters away from the top screen. There is quite a gap between my projector and my lap. It takes the immersion out if you constantly have to keep looking down to adjust your inventory.

Unfortunately I find games that under-utilize the gamepad rather than the ones that do. Most games simply double the image on the screen and the Tv. Quite useless in my opinion. They should have the option of turning the display right off.
I usually use my Wii U pro controller and avoid the gamepad if at all possible. I simply cannot play FPS with it.
Possible Mod support and 4K resolution are rumored as well. This will be a nice treat for some 3rd person beatem ups.

I had my doubts too about the 8gb dropping, especially since it would put the Titans out of business for a cheaper price. But I read article after article about it and I really want to future-proof my rig. I will hold out till March and then spend my sweet sweet tax money on a new 980.

Im not concerned about pixels one whit as long as they can make a fun and quality game. Hell I love me some retro games like Divekick and Fistpuncher. Big pixels, big fun.
Same. My heart dropped at the thought of the VRAM requirements being high was starting to trend. Im still holding out for the GTX 980 8gb version to drop. Damned rumors had me believing it was dropping last year.
Mario is taking a break and some other big players have stepped up. Wii U is definitely looking to gain some momentum in 2015. Hopefully they can keep it going. Love me some Zelda and Star Fox!

I dont pirate games (anymore) but I do have a hard time justifying some of those prices. And of course I avoid all Freemium traps.
Devs need to realize that gamers would much pay $5 for a full and complete game with no P2P B.S. If you price games reasonably, they will sell more. Since the games are all digital, there is no overhead cost per unit as there is with disc and cartridge.

If the initial subscription is low, who knows? Maybe Sony will drop the price a bit or have seasonal savings. I have a feeling Sony will go down with the price before hiking it up. May be worth waiting for a deal.

I think its the exact opposite. Mobile devs tried freemium and and micro transactions and got away with it, so they keep on doing it. If they are in a decline, its because gamers wised up to their tactics.
Some of the prices on games are ridiculous as well. Im all for supporting a good game, but some of them are $15-$20!! Thats pretty steep for a remastered game from 1990.
Lately QA testing seems to be done by the consumer after the release date. Hopefully not so for Dying Light.

Ha Ha! Try Jurassic Park Builder for Nintendo DS. It is an older game but incredibly intricate. You build an amusement park with dinosaurs, you send expedition teams to search for amber, you have to have visual access to dinosaurs or people will walk out. You can even set the price of a T shirt, hamburger, or toy.
There is no first person nonsense of course, but it is the blueprint for what you are looking for.
