@Daniel
These Microtransactions arent just for a new paintjob or floor mat, you need gas to get around. So you can either "Choose" to wait or pay money to buy a full tank. You say mobile gamers have a choice on paying on f2p, but it really doesnt seem like much of a choice at all. Pay for fuel, or you cant play till tomorrow.
I may not speak for all consumers, but you may be the first person I have seen defending Microtransactions in these forums and online in g...
EA could still sell the game for a few dollars up front and make a profit. Since it is digitally distributed whether they sell 100 copies or a bazillion, it will cost EA the same to distribute it.
Consumers want to feel like they 'won' during a transaction. They want to feel like they got a deal and that product is theirs. Players getting sucked into pay to play models only frustrate consumers.
EA needs to realize this and end the F2P/Microtransaction debacle th...
Did you come to join in? Or just to troll? Pc gaming is pretty awesome Btw.
Pc gaming is already superior right now. No need to wait.
I want less open traveling without vehicles. It seems like you do a lot of walking in all the Borderlands games. They are huge landscapes, but empty.
No shots fired here, but it is kind of their style. I always found their physX made up for the cell shading.
Easy sailor, there are plenty of great games for mobile. Half Life 2, Conduit, GTA:SA, SW:KOTOR, plus all the little indies like Terreria and one finger death punch.
The mobile market is actually finally churning out some great games.
I dont agree with Microtransactions or SQUARE charging $15 per Final Fantasy game, but there are some fair deals if you can sift through all the shovelware.

Ok lets try this another way; with VR you would no longer be playing a game as if through a window, you would have peripheral vision of your surroundings in the game. Personally for me this is a game-changer and a worthy trade-off for wearing a helmet.
Plus when I think of all the potential for media in VR, it really excites me. Virtual Concerts, VR Movies, VR in the classroom, I mean the opportunities are limitless.

I wish North America would open up a Mandatory Gaming Day. Take the day off and enjoy some digital fun. I find less and less time to game as I get older and I certainly dont want the magic of gaming to be forgotten.
Blocking yourself from your surroundings may not appeal to you, but it sounds like solid gold to myself. As a person who travels extensively for work, I am always thinking of a peripheral that I can take on the road. Especially since Hotel tvs arent that big and some lock out the tv so you cant hook up your console to the Tv.
If I can have this portability and immersion, well I can see VR in my future.
You just made an apt description of the Kinect 2.0. Probably wise to be wary.
I wish Valve would just say if SteamOs is dead or not. I would dual-boot if it was worth the effort.
Will X1` do remote-streaming to laptops or does it have to be on the same network?
I truly feel they should have held off on this unit. If they wanted to add a little C-stick it could have waited till their next iteration. They could have added some more horsepower, backwards compatability, and a C-stick.
I cant believe how Microsoft just pushed gaming into a whole new territory. Congrats!
Now if we could just nail down a release date...
Im bittersweet on the whole streaming X1 games to Pc. Streaming to windows devices is sweet, but the sour is that there is no incentive for any X1 games to transfer to Pc.
Steam is the distributor, they can add whatever games they want to their catalogue. If they let the floodgates of anime pseudo-fap games whats to stop a billion other publishers from trying to do the same? You have to look at the big picture.
This is really just a mediocre game that only has gratuitous nudity going for it.
Steam would become a Cesspool pretty fast if they didnt moderate content.
And for those of you slinging the "GTA V has nudity" card, ...
Im getting pretty sick of remakes, Im ready for new IP's already.
The biggest thing that pissed Steam off is the fact that the Dev censored the game initially to meet Steam TOS and then blatantly posted a work-around to enable the nudity again. If I was Steam I would yank it (pun completely intended)
The reason they are compared is to put it in perspective for Console-exclusive gamers. How are they going to tell you how great a game is if there is no reference point?
