Easy now, Kinect most certainly can be used on an X1. Depends on what capabilities you are expecting from it. It does voice commands very well. There may not be much for motion-gaming at the moment, but it has potential.
I used Kinect 1.0 religiously with Skyrim and ME3. Voice commands are like the Ultimate Button.
Mobile games has jumped the shark by far. Endless trash clutters up iOS and Android stores. There really isnt too many quality mobile games anymore. And the quality ones ask premium pricing! I mean $15 for Final Fantasy 4?! Give me a break.
PS4 nor X1 are very mobile. Not sure if they would be in direct competition. PSP, 3DS, Nvidia Shield, there are also more mobile platforms than ever right now to take a bite from mobile games.
You cant blame MS fanboys for a PS4 article. How dumb would that be? "The #1 thing we hate about PS4 is the Xbox Fanboys"- ridiculous.
I hold incredibly low expectations for any video game to movie adaptation. I doubt the quality of the game could ever drop my expectations lower.
Aw hells no. That may be the single best Video Game to movie adaptation ever, Ever.
This may be the only game I buy at launch in 2015. It's risky after the mess of gta IV, but such is my love for this game.
Chris baby, there are quite a few games for the catalogue that you are missing out on. Once you do land the Wii U, hit up Mariokart, Mario 3d land, and of course SSB.
Knowing Zelda games, its more likely side missions will give you more Heart Pieces or expand your wallet. I cant see there being a wide array of weapons or legendary items.

I am a firm believer in the power of VR. Not only in video gaming, but media in general. Imagine seeing a virtual concert, or virtual tour, possibly produced by Steven Speilburg (who has a serious boner for VR).
I also have a 3d tv and 3d projector, so I guess Im not afraid of new tech. But my friends are also very interested in VR pricing and peripherals, so it leads me to believe there is a potential market.
@Jdoki
It is a sticky situat...
If Xbox can integrate kinect with VR it will silence the naysayers about kinect. Even bringing Cortana to the UI has turned heads.
*Sigh
I grew up on the old Detective Comics. Batman was always hailed as The Worlds Greatest Detective. He wore tights and had a utility belt. They were high on story and every encounter could have been his last. Now I see Batman in a suit of armor driving around a friggen tank. There isnt a bigger Arkham fan than myself, but I dont care for the direction Batsy is going in general. In film and game.
Cheers to Sony.
Jeers to jerk fanboys.
Focusing on 1080P and 60fps takes the pressure off the devs to make a decent game with story and soul. They can print that "1080P" on the front of the game and call it a day.
A great looking game doesnt make it a great game.
You pretty much got my point about the first world problems. They arent really problems.
God no. Ive already paid for some games multiple times. Chrono Trigger, Super Mario 64, Super Mario World...between the Snes, DS, and virtual console. I absolutely have zero interest in renting said games.

"Oh no, too many cheap games" How this is a complaint is beyond me. I love Steam Sales because it gives me a chance to support the Devs that may not get the exposure of the AAA behemoths.
The ONLY drawback to Steam Sale is that its always a gamble on sales. One day its 33% off and literally the next day it will be 66% off. So even though the game is on sale, I hesitate just in case it drops further.
They can make the most powerful android console in the world, but there still arent any games that come close to utilizing that power. Half Life, GTA:SA, Oddworld, and SW:KOTOR are the most taxing mobile games on googleplay and they are PS1-2 era games. Unless a company plans on releasing AAA android games, they will be left behind simply by the low quality of current apps.
Most 360 games worth owning are already on PC with the exception of the Halo Franchise. Not sure if this is worth it. Emulators can be a pain to optimize them for all games.
I would absolutely love a Jurassic Park game to coincide with the new movie, but if it is based on the film, forget it. Its time for a stand alone JP game. Hell, I would take on an interactive tour of JP on consoles. It doesnt necessarily have to be about killing dinosaurs. Survival games have hit a resurgence, maybe its time for Escape Jurassic Park.
