I actually like this video more than the N64-kid one. This kid is funny/goofy (you can tell he's playing it up for the camera), while the other kid is just kinda sad and overly happy.
I like the part where he "smiled" for the camera at the end. Lol.
More like Gamecube 1.0 w/ Waggle.
He's f***ing 10-years old. What do you expect from the kid?
You could argue that the Wii is a gateway system, though. For example, this kid looks like he'll probably grow up someday and upgrade to a real system when he's older. Like, in 5 months.
Why not both?
@pixelsword: The difference is that Remedy (an established developer that has already shipped products, btw) and has shown verifiable realtime footage and screenshots. I repeat, realtime stuff that's directly representative of the game. For everything we know, Digi-Guys has only shown pre-rendered demonstration trailers, which were not running in realtime off PS3 hardware.
@Mr_President: How am I the one with the tinfoil hat, when I put up some extremely valid, reasonable points ...
I just don't see how it's reasonable to assume that new developers Digi-Guys can successfully juggle a 1080p PS3-exclusive game, a full-length CGI Blu-Ray movie, and a cel-animated promotional cartoon detailing the story and characters of Wardevil, all at the same time. They may be talented, but a project of this size and scope would almost put their talent level as rivals to Capcom or Squaresoft if they really could pull it off.
Whose JTV channel is that taken from?
They have shown gameplay screens and video of FFXIII, haven't they? In the very first trailer, there was already was realtime footage and/or gameplay shown.
Aside from that, if you aren't able to grasp the difference between a revered, longstanding, 20+ year-old Squaresoft franchise that everyone unquestionably knows 110% EXISTS, isn't vaporware, and is guaranteed to release within the next 1-2 years, versus a brand-new unknown IP from an upstart game studio that's never shipped ...
Why not show some in-progress, in-game footage of the game in action? Just to give everyone some idea of how the game actually plays? You know, like every other videogame?
Also, why would a first-time, fledgling game studio even attempt to undertake that kind of enormous task? That sounds like the stupidest course of action they could've taken, to commit that much funds and resources to three major projects based on a new IP, an unproven franchise that hasn't hit the ground yet. ...
To be completely honest, the whole thing reaks of a hoax. This game was announced in, what, 2005? 2006? And they still haven't released a single piece of in-game footage for it (all the previous stuff they've shown was prerendered CG, as confirmed by the technical guys at Beyond3D). It's been years, and we still have absolutely no idea what the game actually plays or looks like! Now they have the gall to announce a special spin-off animated side project to the nonexistent Wardevil franchise, ...
Why does this report say "Pereira hits on Kanye West" on N4G's front page?
Why do idiot fanboys such as yourself have to take everything and turn it into a console-versus-console thing at every opportunity? Get a life.
You know how some writers were paid by the word? Maybe Valve was paying this artist by the appendage.
Stop spamming your anti-WKC propaganda all over the site with the same exact copy-and-paste message over and over again. You have an agenda to bash Sony and denigrate all its exclusives by any means necessary--WE GET IT.
I think TRUE GAMERS will be smart enough to play this game and judge for themselves firsthand whether it's enjoyable or not.

This is sad news. Both Free Radical and Factor 5 deserved a shot at redemption.
If this is true to MS's actual plan, then it's absolutely fantastic news for Sony. The worst thing that MS could've done, and the last thing Sony would've wanted, is for the release of the next Xbox to be in a swift 4-5 year fashion, forcing Sony's hand to have to hasten the development and release of the PS4 more than they'd optimally like (release within 1 year of the release of the next Xbox). This would have been a nightmare scenario for Sony in my opinion, especially after all the develo...
