Are you one of those still holding your breath for that inevitable PC port of Red Dead Redemption?
A great game is a great game. Why does it matter what platform it's on?
Some fanboys just really amuse me.
And thus, the age of Biomods begins.
Lol, that pic isn't even close to being censored. Photshop 101 - When you shrink a pixelated image down to a thumbnail size, it makes the pixelation look like it's the native resolution.
Umm... logic?
Have you visited their IRC chatroom for a few seconds? Or googled up on what they are? They're just a bunch of random pubescent brats on the internet with too much time on their hands, and download programs that let them launch DoS attacks on websites/networks from their home computers. For the "lulz." There's almost nothing resembling of "logic" within this cesspool of antisocial, lowlife kids that want to feel like they're a par...
"You have victimized your own customers merely for possessing and sharing information..."
Speak for yourselves, you pirate/hacker degenerates. As one of the many (legitimate) customers of the platform, who plays games online on a regular basis, I appreciate the effort and steps Sony is taking to keep hackers and cheaters out of the PS3 and PSN. Go ahead and keep "anonymously" hiding and sniveling amongst yourselves on IRC like the incestuous little rats yo...
I've actually found that the game got progressively worse and worse (imo), as you go further in the campaign, due to the shift away from fighting (somewhat) intelligent human mercs to Halo-style aliens that just jump around randomly. The game seems to get more linear and less sandboxy as it progresses as well. Although I'm only ~70% through the game at this point, so maybe it's a case of "getting worse before getting better."
Add yet another person to the tally who have the clinical inability to process sarcasm and/or humor. When I witness ignorance and obtuseness like this, I want to strangle someone.
I thought Dead Space 2 was the first major shooter release of the year. And what about Bulletstorm and KZ3?
Those be some Crysis 2-type graphics right there. Check out the amazing crate physics at the 10:00 mark, and the dynamic soft shadowing too.
The maps of the levels aren't even that big, compared to games such as Just Cause 2, GTA IV, Operation Flashpoint, and Far Cry 2. The draw distances and playable sandboxes are certainly nowhere near the games I mentioned above, let alone the original Crysis 1.
Looking at these screenshots, who in their right mind would say still say that this is one of the best-looking games in all of consoles? Some of the textures look like they're from Half-Life 2, and there's jaggies galore.
If you'd ever played them, you'd know that games like Uncharted 2 and Killzone 3 look like they have ~2 to 4 times the amount of texture detail on nearly every surface.
Operation Flashpoint and MAG are the closest the current-gen consoles have come to PC gaming. I'm talking about in terms of how deep, tactical, and hardcore the gameplay is.
You know, him and David Jaffe, the OTHER biggest mouth in the gaming business, would either get along great, or explode the universe if they came into contact with each other.
lol
You're not getting attacked (except maybe by a few Xbox loyalists). You make some great points, and I gave you a bubble. I also researched his past, and found out he used to be an editor for TeamXbox.com.
It's great that you also found out that has a huge 360 Gamerscore, and has barely played the PS3 at all (and barely played Killzone 3 or Uncharted 2).
I think there's some pretty clear-cut indicators that he's at least somewhat biased for the...
Desperate Xbox fans. They're just SO utterly desperate to find the slightest bit of evidence that the 360 can match the PS3's top heavy hitters in graphics, that they'll latch onto ANYTHING.
ONE site (IGN) makes the claim that Crysis 2 is the best-looking console game. Several other sites (Gamespot, Gametrailers, Gamepro, Lens of Truth) say that it ISN'T the best-looking console game out there... and all the Xbox fanboys latch onto the one single review from I...
Arthur Gies, the person who wrote this review, used to be an editor on TeamXbox.com before joining up with IGN.
One likely biased, closet Xbox fanboy says that an Xbox 360 game is the best looking game on all consoles... and everyone just laps it up like it's the gospel truth? LOL, don't make me laugh.
Xbox fanboys are so desperate for ANY slightest indication or evidence that the 360 is capable of producing the same graphics as the best PS3 games... ...

Closet fanboy much?
But, of course, he MUST be unbiased and neutral now, since he's working for IGN and not just covering the Xbox anymore.
I'm having a hard time believing that a Valve game on the 360 really looks this bad and low-res... This is, what? Their 4th or 5th game release on the Xbox? Compared to their first-ever experience coding for the PS3? I mean, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 didn't look this blurry/jaggy on the 360, did it?
It looks like the PS3 version is using that famed Cell-based MLAA technique that so many EA-published games seem to use. But still, did Valve deliberately try to make the 360 ...
