Spamming those dual-FMG9s like a boss, and exploiting the crappy spawn system.
Hope you're proud of yourself.
I built a gaming PC just a few months back, and STALKER Call of Pripyat was the first game I bought for it. Fantastic, atmospheric open-world FPS. Perhaps the best single-player FPS I've played in years.
If the studio really is closing, then that's a true shame. I was really looking forward to their next title.
@JokesOnYou: Also, how am I a "butthurt BF3 fanboy" when I'm sooooooo enjoying BF3 and the pure awesomeness of DEDICATED SERVERS on consoles, complete with a server browser and the ability to filter to your region? With dedicated servers, I usually get excellent pings and none of that lag compensation or host advantage BULLCRAP that COD has.
The dedicated server feature of BF3 is the best thing I've ever seen in a console FPS, and I wish COD games would have...
@JokesOnYou: You're an idiot if you think that the MW3 lag everyone complaining about is only on PS3. I've spoken to numerous people online who say that the lag compensation and netcode for MW3 is absolutely AWFUL (yes, the 360 version). I've played it myself, and it's some of the worst netcode and lag compensation I've ever played in a game.
I have a good internet connection, and usually get very good games in MW2, Black Ops, and BF3. On MW3, however, the...
God, I hope the awful input lag and controls are fixed. They're almost totally ruining the game for me.
Near perfection; like textures not loading, or slowdown when you play too long.
This HD video comparison seems to tell a different story:

People ought to know by now that Lens of Truth is not a trustworthy source for platform comparisons.
This HD video comparison seems to show the PS3 version looking better (better HDR, more detailed shadows, better textures):

I think all of us should know by now not to trust Lens of Truth when it comes to platform comparisons. At least wait for a more reputable site like Digital Foundry to post a comparison up. Any site is more trus...
Some people need to go back to elementary school.
Double the PS3 sales of 1.5 million = 3 million. The 360 version sold 2.25 million, which isn't even CLOSE to 3 million.
Carry on.
I didn't say the HDR/bloom effect alone made the PS3 version superior. I simply stated my observations that the PS3 version seemingly has better HDR lighting and Anti-Aliasing (MLAA).
Also, what is contradictory about "The proof is in the video Lens of Truth posted (as low-quality and blurry as it may be)"? I simply stated that the videos and screens are low-quality and blurry, but it's still enough to make out a few scarce details and differences.
...
Xbox 360 seems to be lacking HDR/bloom lighting compared to the PS3.

360 fans can enjoy this terrible, low-quality, compressed Lens of Truth comparison all they want.
I'm awaiting a more objective comparison from Digital Foundry (with actual full-resolution, HD screenshots). Only then will the real truth be known.
This is an absolutely horrible screenshot comparison. All the screenshots are heavily compressed and blurry. I have to squint to make out the details because the screens aren't even full HD!
In every HD video and screenshot I've seen, the PS3 version has significantly better anti-aliasing by virtue of its MLAA (the 360 version has significantly more jaggies; probably using an edge-AA method). However, all these screenshots are downsized, so you can't even SEE the ...
TERRIBLE screenshot comparison. Whoever captured these screens should be shot; they’re all so small, blurry, and low-quality that you have to squint to make out the differences!
It’s like someone decided to downsize every single screenshot so as to mask the fact that the 360 version has more aliasing than the PS3 version.
I don’t even like Digital Foundry that much, but I guess I’ll have to wait for them to get a decent full-HD screenshot comparison gallery. ...
Lol. Of all the outrageously trollish and self-aggrandizing things Jim Sterling has done and written in the past, Gears 3's score of 8/10 is your only complaint?
Wow. Just wow.
"...it is nearly as graphically beautiful and exciting on the PS3 as the initial PC trailers made it seem."
Hopefully this statement proves true. If the PS3 version looks even half as good as some of the PC trailers, I'll be one happy camper.
"...in terms of visuals, the Xbox 360 version certainly took the edge over the PS3 version."
Bwahahahahaha... good one!
Boy, these 360 fanboys are out-of-touch. They're in for a shock when they actually start to look at some HD screen comparison screens.
Awesome weapons list. But will we be able to use these weapons in non-Karkand maps? Appreciate if someone would clarify how these extra weapons would work, as it would be awesome if the DLC pack were to add these weapons to the already awesome variety of weapons available in the regular BF3 maps.

Statistical evidence of EDGE magazine bias:

Graphics-wise, PC will be better. However, gameplay-wise, you're probably better off with the PS3 version, as teamwork and communication are vital to consistent success (and fun) in BF3.
Some will point out that the 64-player option on the PC makes it immediately superior gameplay-wise, but I disagree. I think 64 players is good if you're just f***ing around and looking for some chaotic action, but more players does NOT equate to better gameplay. To me, a smaller play...
