It's sort of a pattern. Top quality PS3 games are routinely marked down for stupid or non existent reasons.
All in all it doesn't really matter to me or the people on here but when you see reasons for low review scores like for Fat princess "headsets aren't bundled with PS3" Killzone 2 "no co op" or Flower "too short".
All those critisms also apply games which got significantly higher scores.

A game of Halo 3 quality would score less over time if and only if, it's on the PS3.
When I saw the scores for Killzone 2 and they were lower than Halo 1, 2 & 3 I was gobsmacked. Is Killzone 2 really not that good? I thought. Then I played it, and clocked it, and loved it.

If we were talking about a full game at a reasonable price then less than 7 would not be justified.
When there's so much about the game to criticize, however good it is, 9 just wouldn't seem right.

This generation it is clearly obvious that certain trends exist in each territory. When all is made equal the 360 sells better in the USA, UK and Australia. The PS3 sells better in greater Europe and Japan.
To limit the 360 to it's dominant territories only would consolidate their position but would leave a massive honey pot in the form of Japan and Europe for Sony.
They can't afford to adequately contest the PS3 where they are weakest but can't afford to hand over all thos...

Using the USA to say that FM3 will outsell GT5 is very small minded. Europe will be the decider. Nobody will buy FM3 in Japan and GT5 is almost guaranteed to sell 5m in Europe alone so whatever FM3 sells in the USA it's a done deal.
FM3 will not sell more worldwide end of story.
So many stories on N4G presume that the world outside of the USA doesn't exist or matter. I predict that GT5 will sell more in Europe than FM3 will sell in the USA.
Doesn't really matter to me because everything I have read suggests the game is crap. Shame really because the second Star Ocean game was really innovative and could do with a great successor.
I find this hilarious, but let's remember that a bunch of people were ripped off and that is pretty disgraceful whoever it happens to.
All this talk of Uncharted 2, Killzone 2 or ODST being game of the year were woefully premature. It seems that Demon Souls is a sleeper hit like no other. Game of the year?
