Wow, I can't imagine what the japanese gamers feel about this, seeing as both tri-Ace and Square Enix are japanese companies, and Star Ocean a very popular game over there.
Hopefully it'll come to the PS3 too, after Sony has "re-evaluated" their stance regarding paying for exclusives. I'm quite sure MS handed over some money in this case :)
Personally, I want to continue living cause I'm having such a great time. Certainly not a waste of time. Going to church, however, that is a waste of time :)
Why do something because of something noone can prove? Not doing anything makes much more sense. With todays rapid progress and way of life it'll not be too many generations before most people figures that out I'm sure.
It wasn't too long ago that everyone thought the world was flat. With advancement comes e...
Bladestar,
UK is a part of Europe in every way. Sales statistics too. UK just happens to be the biggest "union" in Europe when it comes to game sales, but it's still just ~30% of the whole of Europe. I call it a union because it actually consists of 4 relatively small countries; England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. I've never seen numbers for Europe that exclude the UK.
(Geographically speaking, the UK is smaller than many other countries in E...
In Scandinavia (and perhaps all of Europe) all shops are free to set their own price on everything, bundled or not. Apparently because it promotes competition. There is no such thing as a retail price. I bought the discontinued 60GB PS3 5 months ago for 3400 NOK (680$) with 2 games and an extra controller, which is less than the 40GB costs even today. I'm sure 680$ is way above what it costs in the states, but that's how expensive stuff is here :) The offer only lasted a day or two and was mo...
What's to kill? I haven't seen or even heard of anyone with an iPhone.
Endgame wow is the best sh*t ever in an mmorpg. I'm talking about the raiding game, which no mmorpg before it has even come close to in complexity and pure fun-ness =)
I don't like PvP in wow. I play Tekken, Soul Calibur and such for PvP.
I haven't used anti virus or firewall for about 4 years. Neither do I have a router, so my ip is my external ip. The best way to be safe is simply to be smart.
Still using XP btw, cause some of the applications and tools I need (for development) still isn't compatible with Vista.
lol, and so true :D
Great use of police resources and tax money!
It's impossible to see lens flares with your eyes. It's a camera effect.
It just came out in Europe and Australia.
I almost never turn off the PS3, and I sleep about 3 meters away from it. Has been running for about 2 months now. I usually don't even quit the game, just turn off the controller and TV. Makes it much easier to start playing again.
I'm just gonna state the obvious here:
A game is never good because it has good graphics; and a game with bad graphics can be very good.
Very good article!
Quite funny how you talk about the UK as if it was the whole of Europe =)

Having more than 1 character at level 70 is practically a must when playing in a hardcore raiding guild. The reason is simply because there isn't enough dungeons to raid all the time. At the moment, 7 hours a week is all it takes to clear Black Temple and Mount Hyjal, and everything else simply isn't hard (read: fun) enough when all you wear is purples from those dungeons. When not raiding, the raiding character is basically good for nothing except idling in Shattrath while chatting with frie...
I fundamentally disagree with this guy. Adding new content is a mistake?! I stopped reading there...
Satellite connections are going to have relatively high latency no matter how much bandwidth they have. The signals are going to travel at the speed of light, but even that is going to be too slow for a good multiplayer experience when the distance they need to travel is so great.
A satellite in geosynchronous orbit (always over the same spot on the earth) will be so far away that it'll take 100 ms for light to reach it, and then 100 ms back. Anything less than 200ms will there...
This is my first MGS, and it took me a little over 8 hours to complete act 1. And what's wrong with long cutscenes? I love every second of them.
