Battle.net will never work. You might get to connect to some unofficial server eventually, but never the real thing.
I bet even less got 100% of the SO3 battle trophies, since there wasn't any platinum or anything of the sort back then.
The Star Ocean 4 platinum is probably one of the rarest trophies. It takes insane dedication to get that one.
You can play singleplayer without being connected even with the legit version. You don't get achievements when playing offline though, and I'm sure pirated versions don't either.
The game was sold at half price where I live. 299 instead of 599. Considering that it includes the whole multiplayer I think it's a fair price. Also, the Terran campaign in Starcraft II is longer than entire Starcraft I. The whining is completely unjustified, as usual...
You don't need to kill the blue dragon. Use Water Veil and the fire resistance ring to survive one spray of fire. It's very possible to run through without getting hit though.
I don't mind the price, but I never seem to be able to get hardware that's stable. My current computer keeps hanging at random times, and it's impossible to find out what's wrong. I haven't been able to get a stable gaming computer since the days of Quake 3. Consoles just work.
While plasmas are still in theory susceptible to burn-ins, they have improved to the point that it's not really a problem in practice any more. You might see slight temporary "burn-ins" after having displayed a still image for a long time, but it'll disappear in no time (seconds) after displaying something else. And you'll only be able to see it if that 'something else' is a black screen. Anything else and you won't even notice it because it's so slight. ...
LED is still LCD technology, and it's not a big upgrade either. Plasmas still got the edge in my opinion. The writer of the article linked below shares my opinion. And with 3DTVs being the new thing, plasmas got even more of an edge. High refresh rates are very important for 3D and in that area plasmas are king.

Right now, plasma is better for 3D, and with good reason. LCDs struggle with the high refresh rates necessary for smooth 3D in full HD. Basically, they can't do 1080p 3D with todays tech. Read the linked article for more detailed info.

Also, the refresh rates issue also means you will experience "cross talk", which is that the left a...
I think 5 years is overly optimistic. They might exist by then, but if they do the 3D effect will likely be nowhere as good as with active shutter glasses. Personally, I'd rather have good 3D with glasses than bad 3D without.
I want Xiaoyu and Lei.
I know I'm in the minority here, but the music matter more to me than the graphics. Gameplay tops them both by far though.
If I recall correctly, we couldn't choose race in SC1 either. I think we had to do the missions in chronological order. The story wouldn't make sense if not.
What are you talking about? Kinect is clearly mentioned in the interview regarding that topic.
Cartridges work, but a 50GB one is way too expensive. Also, Blu-Rays are almost impossible to scratch by accident.
I think somewhat like this too, except here it's $16 to watch a movie and $100 for a game. It's hard to find a game with less value for money than a movie.
Men and women are different. That's a big part of the reason at least.
I got tired of FPSes years ago. Half-Life 2 was my last.
LED LCD is not a big upgrade from the "normal" LCD tech. The LCD industry wants you to believe it is, but in reality it's just not the case. LED still got issues with refresh rates and black levels.
