Anime was a mistake.

IGN didn't review Ride to Hell for some reason, so this list is already losing some credibility.

"...his comments could be attributed to The Long Guardian as he was not allowed to comment on the game specifically."

That's either a typo or a bad joke.

Sony nails a balance between keeping the old at heart and the new in mind. Sony's first-party studios are usually the biggest examples. Look at the PS3: Uncharted, Infamous and Resistance right out of the launch gate, with The Last of Us at the tail end and The Order for PS4 in the works.

While I'm yearning for a potential Crash Bandicoot revival, I'm equally as excited for The Order. Bring it on, Sony.

It's hilarious that Activision is still saying that they own Crash, even after everything has happened and continuing to happen. I'm really starting to think that they're purely in denial about this.

C'mon Sony, break the news already!

It's good that Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon isn't getting lost in the mix. That's crazy fun.

Importing Jump! Ultimate Stars was the best decision I ever made as a DS owner. It's my favorite DS game ever, and not just because I dig anime.

Don't forget the Persona series.

It was on the Gamecube but yes, Eternal Darkness was awesome. A very intelligent horror game that was criminally underrated.

During the initial pre-order stampede, Toys R Us was the only store near me that not only had PS4 reservations available, but also allowed for a $20 deposit instead of the full payment.

While Best Buy and Gamestop are losing stock fast, Toys R Us continues to have a good amount of systems available. If you're looking for a PS4 for the holidays, Toys R Us is a pretty reliable outlet.

Agreed. Compared to many other executive-level figures in the industry, Tretton doesn't evoke this "corporate superiority" vibe, at least in my eyes.

They've definitely been enlisting a lot of workers from high-profile companies lately. It'd be interesting to see how employees from Crytek and Naughty Dog could contribute to a brand new Metroid Prime.

That would make more sense. A lot of the fans of Sonic 2 play the dedicated gaming systems more than mobile. It could've been released as free DLC on PSN, XBLA or eShop. The fact that this is exclusive to mobile devices is what especially puzzles me.

Plus, I was never a fan of the pseudo-buttons on smartphones. You know, the overlays on the touch-screens that aren't real buttons. They're awkward to use. I'd rather a platformer level be released on a system wit...

I'm sorry, but one very specific case is not enough to make such conclusions. Also...

"Experts say that unlike television or other sedentary activities, video games encourage people to stay still to finish a game."

That is most certainly not a constant or even a trend. In fact, you're likely to move MORE playing a video game than simply watching TV. You're engaged when playing a game and what you do in the game demands you to be agent an...

Games can be art if they embrace the parts of the medium that distinguish them from movies or TV. Making a game pretty and cinematic does not instantly make it art; it's catering to the film critics, which is not a good way to make games art.

Games like Journey (ambiguous communication between players), The Walking Dead (intricate use of player choice), or even Metroid Prime (creating immersion through smart use of first-person perspective) are fine examples of art that a...

I can't agree with your claim that all these publishers would've instantly changed their minds after Revengeance. That game, regardless of its quality, got a lot of flack from the public.

Platinum Games needed to get their game going, so simply waiting it out would've been a big, BIG gamble. If anyone should have malign directed toward them, it's the publishers that turned it down and are now seeing a huge amount of publicity and support for the game as a Wii ...

They don't want attention. They want these people pestering them to get the hint that it's a Wii U exclusive. It's really pathetic to see these fans claim to want the game, but apparently not enough to understand that it's an exclusive and that you'll need to buy a Wii U to play it.

Why not just beg Naughty Dog to put Uncharted on Xbox? Because it won't happen. That's the same situation here.

Twitch might be able to take advantage of Youtube's screw-up if they offer full video uploads beyond simple streams. If they do, I don't expect many content creators to stick around at Youtube.

That's an interesting viewpoint and I definitely agree that this surge of gaming content creation is filling the gap that Xplay got on cable TV, only I think these online channels have made it much better than G4 did (especially nowadays).

And yes, I understand that some channels are making money purely by uploading official trailers or making boring reaction videos to them. I understand the anger toward them. But Angry Joe's videos are long and take a lot of time to ...

My Twitter feed has been blowing up from all of my favorite Youtube channel owners, from ProJared to GaijinGoombah, all of whom are getting very strict Content ID matches. Youtube is just following up the comment debacle with another crazy stupid issue, one that is already ruining the entire gaming side of the site.

I agree. It's horrible.
