I swear, I've never seen a comeback as big as the PS3's. Last gen was proof that predicting an ultimate outcome at the beginning of the generation is ridiculous.

First-party titles are exclusives. People buy consoles based on things you can't get on other systems. Why buy one system when you can get the same games on another?
Talking about the Wii U, even in a generally critical light, is fine, but we've heard this all before multiple times and it's really getting old.
It would be much more acceptable and interesting if people actually came up with new ideas and viewpoints for their articles instead of regurgitating the same "Wii U = Dreamcast" arguments that we've been seeing on this site for the past two years.
If Sony wants VR to take off, they need to make it affordable and they need to have a lot of dev support for it. The console itself is already $400, and unless the support for VR is thorough and comprehensive (from a lot of devs including AAA), I don't expect someone to shell out over $250 for Morpheus. There needs to be a real, legitimate draw to it.

"The answer to the inevitable question about The Last Guardian was a “no comment.”"
He wasn't "angry" in the Twitter conversation; he was just trying to offer a convincing argument and stand up for himself. There's a big difference between being "angry" and being passionate for your opinion.
He's smart enough to know when to turn off the anger and approach things realistically and professionally. I don't think he did that here.
Besides, he doesn't have to be in character 100% of the time. That's no...
You lose a lot of credibility when you use the term "save" in your comment.
If it was dead, we wouldn't be talking about it.
.1 score difference aside, I think Vargas could've approached the conversation more professionally, even if he had no intention of acting "maliciously."
You mind explaining all the games that will be released for the system over the next year, including the ones that are currently unannounced and will probably be announced in the future? I'm pretty sure there's more than five. In fact, I'm certain.
I've heard nothing but good things about Mario Kart 8. If you don't like the series, that's your call, but a lot of other people do.
It's the tired argument of people saying "it has...
Exactly. Sure, he might not care, but EA definitely does, and Titanfall's sales are what are likely to determine if they back up a sequel or not.
If they don't, someone else will need to step in or the series isn't likely to continue. Hopefully it will; this IP is cool to me.
I wish Western developers weren't so scared to death of putting games on this thing. Aside from a few exceptions, the best Vita games are from Japan. I dig the indie support too, but the system is very neglected by Western developers.
Wonder what they'd pick. I'd assume some popular ones like "Killing in the Name", but Rocksmith brings out more fan favorites in their DLC picks too, so it's hard to predict.
I'm a little curious as to whether Titanfall would've been multiplayer only if on Vita, especially if Sony would be involved in its development if it was.
Not everyone would give the money back. Some would just say "tough luck." This shows that there's at least some Kickstarter users that care about their backers.
"Don't tell me you've NEVER snorted Halo, people! I'm not buyin' it!"
That reminds me of that Egoraptor cartoon, Awesome Reach, where guys do just that.
Actually, considering how much he detailed the story and what you do throughout the game's main mission, I'd say he did play it. Maybe not 20 hours of playing it, but he did play it.
Yahtzee's pretty much saying what everyone is saying: this is an amazing, well-designed game, but one you shouldn't buy at its current asking price.
Improved video editing functionality sounds great, especially with the share features being so popular.
Essentially, they are, at least in the racing modes. The Crash modes are generally the parts that people associate the most with Burnout, but they aren't in NFS.
However, the aggressive driving element and Criterion-powered sense of speed are still in NFS: Hot Pursuit.
The mentality of the gaming community online is that "not first place" means it's "a failure", which is absolute bull.
