"ocarinaoftom.com begins a quest to review every North American Nintendo 64 release..."
I assume that includes Superman 64, Daikatana, and all of the South Park N64 games. Godspeed.
Blast Corps, on the other hand, yeah, that's a good one.
Exactly, especially considering that the person who runs Kotaku and its sister sites openly said just that to a public journalist in an interview.
Puts the whole thing into perspective, yeah.
Agreed. This really wasn't a review. At the very least, it's someone who decided to write a paragraph or two about a game that came out years ago.
I'm not faulting the reviewer for the 6/10 score; everyone has their opinions. But the least this reviewer could do is make a better case for their verdict.
It does seem extremely suspicious that Amazon recommends other consoles on Nintendo hardware pages, but not vice versa.
However, very interesting that this article didn't tell us why this is happening. Also, Kotaku has a knack for stupid and misleading headlines as always.
Please don't bring Metacritic into this argument. Please...just don't.
Withstanding Broly's gravelly tone spouting "Kakorot" every three seconds takes more skill to endure than any other DBZ boss fight.
The executive producer justifies false advertising by essentially saying that gamers are too dumb to pay attention to features, while also having Big Rigs, one of the worst and most broken games ever to be released, on his resume.
It's sad that he really thinks he can get away with all this crap he's spouted. Digibytes has my sympathies in playing this game; no one deserves such torture.
I'm curious by what you mean by "modern" Nintendo. Enlighten me, soldier.
Oh man, Road Rash desperately needs a reboot and if Criterion were behind it? Consider that franchise revived in spades.
"I'm too busy for any more doom articles, and would rather enjoy the system on focus on the positive news articles. Gloom is such garbage, it's all the same and I'm bored of it."
Who are you and how did you get on N4G?
From what you extensively typed, you're saying that EA is too good for Nintendo. News flash: EA remains one of the most hated gaming establishments in the industry right now. Look at the SimCity launch; it was terrible and EA didn't own up to their mistakes (the devs Maxis did instead).
You can hate on Nintendo all you want, but I can say with the utmost conviction that you are certainly not right. If you like EA that much, go play Origin. We'll stick around on St...
Sounds exciting to me. I like that these independent devs are taking a look at what the Wii U can do and giving it the chance it needs.
I was a launch day buyer as well, and while I wouldn't say shafted, I do agree that there isn't much to play on the console at the moment. You pretty much have Monster Hunter, Lego City Undercover, and the launch games.
I'm sure Nintendo will deliver some good stuff this year, especially with their big list of franchises appearing at E3, but at the moment, it's pretty slim pickings. Decent pickings, but slim nonetheless.
Isn't this the first time he's given a game any higher a score than 3/5 since he joined Rev3Games? Kind of momentous, actually.
Both the 3DS and the Vita have auxiliary features, but I'd much rather play a game on two screens than play with a rear touch pad that is far too easy to accidentally touch while holding the console.
Phil Fish, in all honesty, has no idea what he's talking about. Still, he brightened up my day mentioning the ill-fated Game Boy Micro. I almost forgot about that thing!
Did anyone really expect this game to be worth anyone's time or money? Even worse, I have a chilling feeling that it will sell just because it has the name "Walking Dead" in it. Sad, really.
Still, it was worth the click just to be able to read a review with the word "ZomBiebers" in it. Kudos, Justin.
Didn't Phil Fish say that Fez "should be out on pretty much everything"? Last time I checked, the 3DS is a part of "everything."
I mean, I don't see why putting Fez on 3DS is a bad business move. If you're going to bother putting it on iOS and Vita, just put it on 3DS. It doesn't need the 3D effect to be worth playing, especially if the game design is so good.
Phil needs to get his ideas in line before he opens his mouth. Y...
This is pretty shocking. Nintendo doesn't normally lose legal battles like this.
In all honesty, though, does anyone really care about 3D anymore? I haven't even heard Sony talk much about it lately, and they really pushed it as a PS3 selling point a little while ago.
You're reacting as if you knew it was "stolen tech" the whole time, which I'm pretty sure you didn't.
Metacritic flaunts convenience instead of being a truly analytical site. They capitalize on the fact that many consumers would rather have a single number decide their purchase instead of have to read/watch dozens of written/video reviews. However, fast access pales in comparison to effectiveness.
I'm very happy that Adam approached this topic, because I'm really tired of seeing people judge a game's quality using a Metascore (especially when said people haven'...
