So MS are reacting to what gamers asked for. How is that bad?
Although Im not fussed about it I think they should keep kinect. There's some cool stuff you can do with it once everyone has it and thats how they will differentiate themselves.
I hope it does come out on PC. If not I will get it for consoles. But this late in a gen the gap between consoles and pcs gets pretty large.
I'm no elitist I'm only rocking an AMD7770 but even that is happy to play games at 1080p on nice settings. Tho I'm sure I'll be turning some bits down for this =p
Can't wait for next gen though. I'll be getting a ps4 and it'd be nice to see this game there. We've all been waiting for 1080p...
I'm using 8gig of ram in my system atm and I often think about getting more.
But thats more rendering and photoshop, photoshop eats ram O_O
Gaming will get there though but it will take a while yet. I mean doesn't skyrim use less than 4gigs of ram? and thats got a ton of background stuff to store there.
I might be wring though for gaming ram is so cheap its easy to over do it and never worry =D

Consoles do represent good value for money. A launch PS4 will out PC's which cost way in excess for some time.
Even now consoles this gen just about hold their own, and can be bought ridiculously cheap.
Personally I switched to PC gaming a while back as the wait for next gen was getting frustrating, but the choice between an upgrade or a console is pretty hard right now.
Go for a console, and your set for a few years. Go for a pc and you...
Its a good game. I've never played through games so many times as I have with elder scrolls.
I've played as a mage, nord, assassin, imperial/storm cloak and now as a rampant theif.
You don't even have to do the missions to have fun, you can just make up a character or set yourself a goal to be a hunter tradesman, or jeweler.
As far as the actual quests go though, I preferred oblivion.

I'm liking AMD at the moment. Intel may edge it out for single core performance which is good for gaming, but realistically AMD is cheaper and you get more cores for your money, so games that can take advantage of it play really well.
I got an fx6300. Plays games nicely, and blitzes intel for multi threaded processes like 3D rendering, Photoshop etc.
Great if your PC needs to work as an office and gaming machine at once =D
I find it weird how so many people disregard phone games as something for the casual gamer.
I know some people who play games more so than myself, and then play games on their mobiles all the time such as RPG's and turn based strategy games. There's actually some really good ones on mobiles.

Its such a small increase that if it really is a response to the ps4, its a very weak one.
I think that its probably just a driver update, or they found a way to make the system a little more efficient. The ps4 had no part in it.
I dont think they did this in response to the PS4.
Just like how the esram preformed better than expected. They probably just found out that the GPU could give more without overheating, so they did it.
A lot of "new" engines these days are built from the foundations of old engines.
So no, not worried at all. The first lot of games will be like the first lot on this gen, better but not WOW. It'll be a good year or so into next gen that those games start to appear.

The main issue I saw with the console the minute it was announced was a huge crisis of identity. Casual gamers saw a device with a strange and possibly confusing interface, and core gamers saw the controller as another gimmick to create hype.

That's pretty fair to be honest.
I was one of those who owned a Wii and regretted it. Apart from a few great games from Nintendo, there wasn't a lot to show for the platform. God awful online connectivity and an under powered machine was part of that.
The wii U is selling worse, and the online component from what I hear isnt exactly a generational leap.
Nintendo were hoping to pull the same trick twice, and ride on their first party ...
I hope the online is more like killzone 2. That was brilliant.
I tried the beta online of Killzone 3 and it persuaded me to miss the game altogether.
Graphics are great, but just bring back the multiplayer of KZ2, controls, heavy movement and all.
Im not expecting such a big leap this gen. And tbh i doubt i will get any new console for a year. Nothing shouts out amazing yet.
Hopefully it'll step up. Remember cod3 on 360? Looked awful then gears 3, uncharted ect came out and blew us away.

I got a ps3 at launch. Both the ps3 and 360 were pretty loud, just didn't come with enough HDD space in the long run and took a while to hit their strides.
I'm gonna wait a year at least, hope my PC keeps up. Then I'll decide to either upgrade the PC or go for a PS4. Or both if possible.
At the very least, I want to wait to check these things are reliable.

The game seriously needs an injection of new meaningful characters and enemies.
Im going to wait on the pc version. It'll suck but Im not buying a game twice and this game will look amazing on better hardware.
