Yeah let’s just forget that they have to actually be quality games. 🐸 ☕️
Competition is good, false expectations... not so good lol (not saying your comment is false expectations. Just speaking generally)
I really enjoy watching things like E3, The Game Awards, XO and PSX. The thing that kills their hype is the leaks.
When only a small percentage of the gaming industry get to experience in person the immense fun and excitement of these events, leaking can kill any wanting to see those events streams. In a case like that everyone else watching who can’t attend thinks “besides seeing the trailer, I already have an idea of what I’m watching”.
I’d say that’s...
“In some cases — like We Happy Few — Microsoft's machine manages to achieve native 4K while PlayStation 4 Pro only hits 1080p. Hopefully, this trend will continue in the future. In order to maintain this growth, Microsoft needs to make sure that it always has "the most powerful console in the world" during any given generation.“
If all they want is growth, then that’s easy to agree with. If they want to lead, then the studios they bought need to deliver. Too b...
They should try and get through 2018 first before even thinking of 2020. It was a snoozefest with only 2 big budget exclusives this year.
Only a small handful left at each of the two Best Buys in my city. Guarantee the additional Black Friday stock that come in will get taken up quick.
Stacks of every other console and PS4 bundle compared to the Spider-Man one.
Can imagine what they’d be busy playing?
You totally missed the point I made. Nice try, maybe next time.
“Expect Gears 5 fully playable on show floor, Halo Infinite gameplay reveal, Battletoads reveal, Rare´s new IP reveal, Ninja Theory New IP reveal and Playground´s New RPG reveal.”
Lmao! You literally just said MS doesn’t need to rush anything. Sounds rushed to me by your list.
Hopefully even a quarter of that shows up for them this coming year, it’s been sparse in 2018 for MS and it’s fanbase.
I’m anticipating a lot of CGI trailer from MS from games that won’t be coming out for another few years, as a counter measure to their absence.
Sony has plenty of games being launched within the year that they’ve shown. I’m excited to see what future projects/console they end up talking about when the time suits them. Reminds me of the pre-PS4 announcement days.
Yeah all those CGI trailers MS is trying to pump out after hearing this news yesterday are going to be so intimidating for Sony. /s
It’s going to be strange. And you’re right about the E3 previews. Sounds like they may take a Nintendo route from here on out or come back swinging in 2020 with the PS5.
“...doesn’t think MS adding 7 studios in one year and further commiting to SP story based games as well as their MP offerings...”
Remind me again how many of those games from the 7 studios you’re playing right now? There’s a reason MS keeps falling more and more behind the competition.
I know right. They should stop innovating with new battery and touchscreen technology and go back to adding batteries to controllers! /s
Would be good to emulate whole libraries from this gen, especially since digital truly kicked off with PS4 and the Xbox One.
Allowing people to bring their libraries with them to next gen could solidify the current market breakdown between both consoles from here on out 🤔. Like besides exclusives, why else would I buy a different console brand next gen when it shares the 90% of the third party games, cross play already exists but specifically... it doesn’t have my l...
I agree. MS did their part, but the fan base has to do its part as well.
There’s too many examples of big budget “exclusives” being made and then they flop when it comes to the fanbase not supporting them.
Good job cherry picking words. Unbunch my knickers? Lmao
The delusion of people on this site is ridiculous. Can’t make a simple factual point without people twisting words and getting offended.
You’re putting this game in the same category as RDR2 and GTAV?
Both of those games actually deliver and aren’t delayed till kingdom come because of false promises. While this game, Crackdown: Campaign, may actually cancel the multiplayer after 4+ years of delays. That’s the problem.
The only thing it’s building is disappotment from those making it seem like another E3.
They must’ve seen the market breakdown and realized they were so far behind.
I’d say age of empires 3. My dad had gotten a new laptop that had it pre-installed so that you could test it out before buying it. I remember asking him if I could play it for a few minutes after he’d finish his work. It was so addicting.
I think that’s what led him to buying me my first console (we weren’t so financially wealthy at the time, but not financially strained either so I had never had anything gaming related). I went all out from there when it came to gaming.
