This sort of tech is already present and has been for a while. It’s just another subdivision of the gaming market.
It’ll take time to pick up just like how services such as Netflix, Hulu and more did.
Xcloud has 0% of market share for cloud stream gaming. Neither are competition at this point against other online streaming services.
This could make AI in games harder based on the profile of players and how they play. I think I read somewhere that Apex Legends is collecting similar data. People speculate that EA is just hoarding data and others were saying that it may make game balancing easier on the devs (seems gameplay styles before and after patches).
Crazy stuff that should be done cautiously at all ends and by all parties.
I’m waiting on those that we’re ready to hang Sony for being “anti-consumer” to have the same conviction against Epic.
This space is already owned.

Some minor latency but it looks good 👍🏼 I’d imagine it being an E3 launch.
Edit: Meant to say, full E3 announcement with launch dates and more gameplay.
They’re two totally different things. One is like Netflix (PSNow) the other is like EA Access (GamePass).
“especially since some of the most celebrated games have been SP games, Witcher 3, Bloodborne, Zelda, etc, etc.“
Writing “etc.” doesn’t automatically equate to more Single player games. We’re all aware that the list is substantially smaller than the number of multiplayer games.
“This isn't just a problem for MP, this is a problem with all AAA games MP and SP alike. If anything SP is more in danger than MP.”
Wrong again. Take Apex L...
When most games coming out aren’t single player driven, it’s clear there is less of a focus. Not rocket science when you look at some of the most recent AAA games and where their main focus lies.
Not that single player is the best. But balance is needed. I see the multiplayer bubble popping soon as new methods of delivering AA to AAA games becomes quicker and cheaper.
I’m expecting some purgatory and real world bridging. Something like the two realms blending and being connected.
They’ve been focusing on death and time as two concepts. But a cosmic twist in the story would be amazing. Something like the zoo hypothesis.
Honestly can’t wait for this game. Been reading a lot of the potential backstory based on the trailers and it seems to hit at Kojima’s sci-fi fantasy methods.
Same! I will say though, Ripper Roo has some crazy acceleration.
I remember having such a hard time beating him in the game as a kid lol
It becomes hit or miss at some point. But obviously the fanbase will never experience every new Pokémon the way most did when the first one came out.
Handful of games? One could argue that PSVR has had more first party support that the Xbox One in the same timeframe that it’s been around.
And people dished out $500 for the Xbox.
@TheUndertaker85
So not supported just out of the box. It takes 10 extra steps on both networks? I’m sure most people would pass.
“I'm literally getting an update on my ps4 for stuff I've already had on my Xbox.”
“
Sony launched the PS4 with remote play and has remote play available to play from anywhere. Xbox has had it for about 2 years and you’re confined to the same network, basically you have to be in the same house.
Not sure I’m getting your comment. The number of android devices and collaboration between Apple and Sony are separate issues.
What a mic drop by Sony! They’ve probably been refining this since launch with remote play being available on the Xperia.
Sony & Apple collaboration in the near future maybe?🤔
I was trying to get a PS3 recently to replay MGS4 with my youngest brother who just recently played MGS1, 2 & 3. So glad this came back.
So glad people can and want to play these now! Excellent games for those with a sci-fi liking 👍🏼
