Not surprised in the slightest. And I think he’s out of touch with what his user base’s interests are.

The user base asks for more exclusives and single player games and doesn’t support them. It’s pathetic.

“tHe Xbox NaMes aRe sO dIfErRent aNd uNiQuE”

Everyone saw this coming a mile away. Even MS has made some mistakes in their own marketing when referring to the XSX.

Wait... I guess everyone forgot about Fallout 76 and how it was presented as Bethesda’s next step in how they develop games?

Oh it’s cool now and doesn’t matter? Okay, cool

I think the stupidity in this is that they’re making it seem like ALL games are coming out for the PS4 as well.

There’s no fair point, really. If the PS5 was available to pre-order for the last few months and they barely said this, then I’d agree. But it was info that came out clear alongside the showcase before pre-orders began. No one was deceived.

A “premium” console with such old internals?

Every phone will have USB-C in the next year or two, every laptop will as well. And most new tech coming out are including wi-fi 6 as a standard. Talk about cutting corners.

Awesome price for an awesome amount of value!

It’s the most advanced controller ever made. It would make sense if we saw a $10-$15 price increase from the new tech compared to DS4.

Lol you’re probably not wrong!

If you’re paying premium for a console, you should get premium.

USB-C is becoming standard and most external hard drives are switching to it.

Wi-fi 6 will become standard for many if not all devices by next year.

It’s a misstep whether you like it or not. Sorry.

Older wi-fi standard, no usb-c?

Are they not future proofing their console? That stuff is gonna be outdated in a few years.

Short term gain, long term loss for them and their first party studios.

I just don't get MS with this?? I agree with you that the soccer moms will probably run out and get this during the holidays... but we've already seen what happens when they ball and chain themselves to considerably weaker hardware.

Like was the feedback from everyone on Halo and other games being held back not enough??

“ Can we please move on from this fallacy that video games are intrinsically linked to aggression.”

Did you even read it?? The article acknowledges that there’s no link. I think this research does exactly that by studying it independently from the fallacy of video games linked to aggression. As an example don’t avoid researching aggression in golf players just because overall research says golf players are not as aggressive in comparison to athletes in another sport.

It’ll probably come to Switch even before that since it looks like they’re now going based on user base. Sad that they have so many on the outside looking in with how fun it is.

I’m hoping this popularity pushes them to make more modes on a monthly to weekly basis. Maybe even more people per game.

Must have been a hard decision for them with all the negative feedback they got. Not to mention the memes.

I’m just surprised at how many people who said it was in good shape and just needed lighting are now saying it needs more time? Hopefully it’s only one delay and not multiple.

It definitely is a quality issue on content available. We’ve seen this time and time again with streaming services trying to compete with price and a lot of “in house” content that just doesn’t stack up to the competition.

As it is most consumers are already burned out by the subscription wave that many companies are going towards. Not having quality first party content to compete with puts them at a huge disadvantage.

That’s not to mention the fact that...

So sad that the only innovation was the USB-C port. Selling a controller with rechargeable batteries instead of making people buy an additional play and charge it would have been the least they could have done.

Better have spare batteries when you’re playing on your phone lol
