Cross play, one “truly realized”, means that there’s no need to get another console if younalready have a preference for exclusives. So whatever the ratio of the market is now, may end up staying into the next gen.

Yeah we've already seen that that's not the case with MS dumping all of their "exclusives" on PC.
It would be a waste of resources to get it multi-plat. These types of games usually don't do well with the Xbox fanbase in terms of support from players in purchasing the game.
And unfortunately the switch will be severely underpowered if this ends up being an early next gen game.

I got a backlog this year of first and third party games that I need to catch up on. And honestly there’s not much else that’s already been revealed at E3 that would be something to show.

I had read some time last spring that there were rumors of Sony allowing people to sell their creations on Dreams. Couldn’t find the article but I found it interesting that Dreams could end up being a hub for a multitude of community made games of all genres.
