Over-hyping ANYTHING will bring about negative press, and Killzone 2 has been WAY overhyped. Many on this site are already proclaiming it "best game ever". It's NOT EVEN OUT YET! Remember "Titanic" (the movie)? It was over-hyped, and initially received a lot of negative press. It however, won best picture, and is the #1 movie of all time. I don't get it. Many people who claim that the gaming media is biased are the same ones who proclaim a game to be "greatest game ever", even though they have NEVER played the whole game, while the reviewers have played it.
I know this may sound crazy, but before you form an opinion, or criticize other's opinions, shouldn't you actually play the game first?
Hype seems to bring about a sense of entitlement among fanboys.
There is no worse fanboyism than judging a game that you have NEVER played, or criticizing a reviewers opinion of a game that they have played but you haven't. How does anyone here know what the quality of KZ2 is? NOBODY except the reviewers have played the whole game!
Don't forget comments like "Killzone2 is the best game EVER", even though nobody here has actually played the whole game.
So why are PS3 fanboys BEGGING Sony to do EXACTLY what MS did - drop the price? Must be feeling desperate too.
So, anything that a Sony PR person says is absolute truth, and anything a MS PR person says is an absolute lie. Be a fanboy, support your favorite console, but really, don't be so blinded by devotion to a corporation.
So, if Sony drops the PS3 price, and it catches up to 360, will it be only because of the price drop? That seems to be the logic here (or lack of it).

Last place in Europe? Please post a link to where you got those numbers. Besides, both MS and Sony know that the US is the biggest prize. I mean, Sega Master System outsold NES in Europe - what did that mean in the end? The US ALONE accounts for around 40% of all worldwide sales - I'll buy anyone the console of their choice if you can name another country that accounts for more sales than the US. In other news, 360EXTREME reports that the 360 produces graphics identical to PS3.
Value can mean many things. Sure, getting all the PS3 offers for $400 is a value to some people. But also a value is buying a system for as little as $200 that, right out of the box, can play about 80% of the exact same games that the $400 console plays. And the 360 exclusives are not too shabby either, including the existing and upcoming games.
So, what you're saying then, is that PS3 is actually being beaten by a more expensive console.

Actually, the PS1 and PS2 practically became leaders overnight. PS1 outsold Saturn on it's first day, even though Saturn released 4 months sooner. PS2 took only months to pass Dreamcast.
So, the media is trying to keep PS3 down and bolster the Xbox 360? Riiiggghhhttt. Where was the pro-Microsoft media when the Xbox was being crushed by the PS2 by a 6:1 margin? Using Sony fanboys reasoning, maybe the PS2 only won last generation because of pro-Sony media.
