I was expecting from GT PSP what other developers have successfully delivered on PSP when porting console games - a complete experience. Look at God of War PSP - it's just as good as it's console counterparts. I simply expected the same from GT. Maybe GOW was just an exception.

Funny how PS3 fans like you love to condemn Forza because of features you think it is "missing" compared to GT5, yet when it comes to a Sony game, you can "get around" missing features and still consider it awesome.

The 8.5 for GT is NOT an average - it is the highest of many reviews so far. Most other reviews are in the 7-8 range. GT PSP will probably end up with an average score of around 7.5. You can't compare that to a 360 exclusive that has a true 8.5 AVERAGE (as you say). Or, should we just trust the highest score given to a game, as you are doing?
By the way, I do own a PSP, and I'm quite disappointed with what I've read so far about GT PSP.

Even bigger losers are the PS3 fanboys hanging out in Xbox 360 articles instead of articles about the console that they claim is "superior". At least multi-plats can be played on a 360. 360 exclusives cannot be played on a PS3, yet PS3 fanboys hang out in EVERY Forza and Halo article.

Bundling a multi-platform game is a very smart business decision. With exclusives, consumers have no choices - a 360 is required to play 360 exclusives, and a PS3 is required to play PS3 exclusives.
Multi-platform games are where the real war is, since consumers have a choice as to which console to play the game on. It certainly benefits MS if a consumer chooses to buy a 360 instead of a PS3 to play MW2. MS gets a console sale as well as royalties from the third party game s...
Bundling multi-platform games is smart because it benefits MS or Sony to get people to choose to play that game on their console. With exclusives, there is no choice.

Trying to reason with them is pointless - they see everything through their PS3 fanboy goggles. You know damn well that when Sony introduces it's bundles this year, they will all be considered brilliant moves by Sony.

It really is a great deal. Same price as buying a regular elite, 2nd controller, and regular edition of MW2 - but with this you get 250gb instead of 120gb and an MW2 decorated console.
MS is really in a great position. They have their own system-selling exclusives like Halo and Gears, and now a multi-platform game (and the year's biggest game) will be a bigger system seller for MS than it will be for the competition.
I've been following the development of this game for years now, and I don't ever recall it being referred to as a "party game, and not as a true GT experience.
Aren't PD supposed to be "perfectionists"? I just find it hard to believe they would reduce their prized property to a "party game". Either they ran out of time and had to rush GT PSP to make the PSP Go's launch, or PD was just not capable of reproducing the GT experience on the PSP.

Forza is being compared to NFS because they both actually exist - NOT because GT5 is somehow on a different level. When a playable GT5 eventually comes out, it will be compared to Forza and NFS as well.

@saaking - I never said that the PS2's failure rate is anywhere near the 360's - I simply said that the PS2's failure rate was far higher than Xbox's.
@darkride - the Wii proves my point even further - a lot of people like Wii's games (and gimmicks), and they don't care that the console doesn't play DVD's, Blu-ray's, have a hard drive, etc. It's all about the games. Also - the 360 has sold more consoles per year since it's been up against the PS3 than it did while it was alon...
And yet, you would rather talk about Halo than play those PS3 games.
