There aren't enough women in gaming for that to happen. Women are generally not interested in video games, and it's going to be a long time before they become part of the video game mass market.
The NES blows this thing out of the water.
Sony will be in most people's homes at some point, especially if they start releasing their games on PC, as is rumored with Horizon: Zero Dawn. Just like EA Origin, Xbox Live, Rockstar Social Club and Ubisoft's Uplay, you will need to have a Playstation account to play their games on PC, and that's what will ultimately happen, so they can increase their MAUs beyond traditional console hardware.
Looking forward to this, especially if the PS5 ends up having the same aesthetics as the dev kit. If they announce a few games from some older IPs, like a new Resistance game, a Socom game, a Killzone game, an Uncharted game, a Heavenly Sword game, a Motorstorm game, a Syphon Filter game or an Infamous game, it'll be a day one order for me.
With this news, and what seems to be a deepening relationship with the two companies, I wonder if Microsoft will support Samsung Ultrawide PC monitors with the Series X, as Samsung has apparently been pushing microsoft to support those resolutions.

Valve needs to stay out of the hardware business.
Movie adaptations aren't necessary and are only meant to suck more profit out of the I.P.. The only good movies, are movies with original and creative content, like the original Star Wars trilogy, or the Indiana Jones movies as an example.
It's the fans that have ruined the event. It was in it's prime before they opened the doors to the fans.
Every year, I look forward to the press conferences, and that won't change this year. It's almost like some of the bigger companies have been trying to take E3 down, rather than E3 simply declining for no particular reason. EA, Nintendo and now Sony, are the three biggest companies, who are doing as much as they can to detract people from E3.
Although, I have to say that Nintendo never really put on a good show it E3. EA's games have gone down the tubes over the...
That CPU should be fine, since playing at 4K makes the performance on your PC GPU bound. It's when you are playing at 1080p, that your CPU has a better chance of bottlenecking your system.
I think it was more around 2010 when they changed the format. Before that though, the forums were awesome, and easy to find what you were looking for. Microsoft's forums are not much better than Sony's forums right now either. I can't understand why they have to mess with something that should be so simple, and then basically hide everything, and make you search through their local search in order to find a thread. Steam is where it's at when it comes to forums these days, sin...
I remember when the Sony forums were the best forums on the net, before they changed them to the current format, back a few years after the PS3 launched. I think this was around the same time that they changed the PS Store interface on PS3, which most people didn't like, since it became slow and laggy. Steam definitely has the best gaming forums these days, and it's too bad, because Sony's forums were just as good way back in the day.
I'm also referring to the recent Sony shareholder earnings conference where I believe it was Yoshida, that stated that MAUs were the standard to judge the performance of the Playstation brand, not hardware sales. This is major change in how Sony views their business.

It looks like Sony and their studios are starting to use the same metrics as Microsoft. Very interesting.
Nobody cares anymore. Blizzard is a crap company, who supports the Communist Chinese government.
They should do an episode of 'Show My Crib' with these developers. These guys must all be living in luxury condos or houses, driving Lamborginis. There is no way that this money has gone entirely into the game development.
I saw the discount, but I'm no longer hyped for the game. I will play it at some point, but I can wait another couple of years for a $10.00 or $15.00 sale. If that doesn't happen, then oh well....
