Wow, 15 development studios..... Remedy would be the ultimate final piece to the puzzle.
Memory and SSD size are also some important specifications that need to be released. Price point will be very interesting this time, but I can't see Xbox being cheaper than Sony with the 12Tflop announcement. The other possible and more interesting announcement, in my opinion, will be the cheaper and lower powered Xbox console.
Jin is correct, since the Navi architecture is more efficient that the Vega architecture that the Xbox One X uses.
That would be a good way to go, but right now, the R7 2700X is going for $235.00 (CDN) vs $399.00 (CDN) for the R7 3700X, and with buying all new parts, I want to keep costs reasonable. I figure that the area where I will be willing to spend more, is with a new GPU. With the way I've got everything figured out so far, after taxes, I'm sitting just under $1,200.00, and that is without the GPU. I'm keeping my old case and PSU, which will keep costs down a bit too.
Hopefully Nvidia will deliver on the 50% improvement on performance rumor that is flying around, because you'd have to be completely out of your mind to purchase a 2080 Super or 2080TI right now, with the steep prices they are asking. The big Navi and Ampere announcements can't come soon enough, since I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do for my next PC build.
I'm worried about PC parts prices rising, not only due to the Covid19 virus, but also d...
Wow, definitely poor timing for my comment. Pretty crazy amount of processing power. However, it looks like I might be right on the hardware accelerated ray tracing, as Microsoft will just use software based DXR without special RT cores. I'm clearly off on the Series X Tflop count, but I'm pretty sure that I'm right on everything else, including Sony's Tflop count.
I don't think the specs are going to be as high for either console, as some of the latest leaks suggest. The 12 Tflop rumors are probably just the dev kits, since that kind of power level would be too unaffordable. The consoles will be based on updated versions of the RX 5700 (Sony), and the RX 5700 XT (Xbox).
Sony's console will be less powerful in a traditional sense, with the GPU having 36 compute units @ roughly 9 Tflops, but they will have hardware accelerated...
They could also be wondering how the Covid19 virus is going to affect manufacturing, and potential shortages of memory and SSD drives. Also, outside of the USA, the world is being tilted towards a recession, which may affect sales going into next year. I suspect that they are still in the process of making some key decisions on what their hardware will finally be, which will determine the final selling price.
Perfect list, although I would add Motorstorm and Heavenly Sword also.

Canada has not restricted travel to and from China. In fact, the Foreign Ministry has only issued a travel advisory for a few regions in China. My attitude is simply, that we are past the point of no return, and that we are all going to get it anyway. If our government wanted to stop a pandemic from happening, they should have acted early in January when it became clear that there was an outbreak occurring. The response to this crisis has been a complete joke by th...
How about a Steam release?
LOL thanks man!
Since this event is in Boston, which is about as far away from the epicenter of this outbreak as you can get, pulling out makes no sense. In fact, I live in an area with the largest Chinese population outside of China, where people from the Chinese community travel back and forth between Canada and China all the time on a very large scale, which creates a far bigger chance of exposure to the region I live in.
However, I still deal with people in the Chinese areas of the Met...
The WiiU and the Switch for that matter, don't "shit" on anything. Nintendo consoles give the worst graphics and physics experiences on the planet. So what's the Switch's saving grace? You can play games on the go, and that's about it.
Not only can Anthem not be saved, the Studio itself is finished.
Who cares, it's not like we didn't all know that it was coming anyway...
I still have my NES, with Double Dragon 1 & 2 and a couple of Nintendo Advantage arcade controllers. I haven't brought them out for quite a few years, but it sure would be fun. I could also do with playing some 1943. Good times!
Another piece of indoctrination for all of the kids out there.
I've been getting back onto my PS3 to play games that I bought back in 2013 and 2014, which I never ended up playing. It's kind of refreshing going back onto the old hardware, in a nostalgic way.
Sony's silence is a problem, especially when you look at all of the events that they have cancelled or been absent from over the last two years, and all of the executives who have left the company over the last year. Ultimately though, all will be revealed, and it will be interesting to see what they have been working on all this time.
